2012 Stonestreet Alexander Valley Chardonnay

Winery Notes: Produced from eight superb mountain sites that our winemaker Graham Weerts chooses every year. The Alexander Valley Chardonnay is a study in the balancing act between vibrant fruit, opulence and mineral structure. Weight and length are definitely present without compromising crisp acidity and bright fruit, resulting in a Chardonnay that is the poster child for Alexander Mountain Estate. $36 Liquidation Price $24.99 (Limited to stock on hand)

2014 Sinor-LaVallee Pinot Noir White Label

Winemaker Notes: The Pinot Noir White Label is the yin to the yang of its riper companion from the Black Label lineup. This wine is all about exploring Bassi Vineyard through a taut, focused expression of the Pinot Noir grape. As such, it is a selection of early picks from the vintage that lock in the fruit's cool-climate character. The result is a Pinot Noir that revolves around floral, spicy, and early-season cherry qualities. Natural acidity is pronounced, delivering mouthwatering freshness across the palate. $52 Our Price $44.99

2016 Tenshen Central Coast White

Winemaker Notes: Aromas of tangerine and ripe melon lead to avors of peach and apricot. Balanced acidity and juicy honeysuckle accent the nish with a hint of hazelnut. $21 Our Price $17.99

2014 Sinor-LaVallee Pinot Noir- SLO County

Winemaker Notes: This is our flagship Pinot Noir blend of eight clones that come together to create a complex reflection of our Bassi Vineyard terroir. Bassi Vineyard is located just 1.2 miles from the Pacific Ocean near Avila Beach, outside of any official AVA boundaries. While we are near to other Pinot Noir regions such as Edna Valley and Santa Maria Valley, we are blessed with a wholly distinct Pinot Noir expression that revolves around elegant red fruits, peppery complexity and a clean, lifted finish. $30 Our Price $25.99

2014 Ridge Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

Winemaker Notes: Deep purple color. Aromas of blackcurrant, cherries, clove spice, toasted oak, and cocoa. Ripe bramble fruit entry, medium-full body, supple tannins, and sweet oak; firm acid persists in a long finish. EB (1/17) $60 Our Price $54.99 (Arrives 5/24/17)

2014 Department 66 Cotes Catalanes Grenache D66

A blend of 80% Grenache, 15% Syrah and a splash of Carignan, the 2014 Cotes Catalanes Grenache D66 IGP spent ten months in roughly 30% new barrels. This inky colored, downright sexy 2014 offers terrific notes of blueberries, blackberries, violets and chalky minerality. Big, concentrated and textured, yet still playing in the more elegant style of the 2014 vintage, this beauty will drink well for a decade. $38

Wine Spectator 91
SAINTAYME St.-Emilion 2014

This sports a slightly exotic core of raspberry and blackberry fruit, backed by a roasted apple wood note and a jolt of licorice on the finish, imparting up-front appeal and a bit of mid-term aging capacity. Drink now through 2024. 2,000 cases made. JM Our Price $18.95

2014 Sinor-LaVallee Syrah Black Label-Bassi Vineyard

Winemaker Notes: Rich, ripe blackberries and plums with a hint of smoke in the nose. The mid has lush ripe black currents and black licorice qualities. For such a ripe wine it still has firm tannins and almost lean finish. A balanced wine at a high level. $52 Our Price $44.99

Wine Spectator 95
CHÂTEAU CANON-LA GAFFELIÈRE St.-Emilion 2014

This cuts a wide swath, with mouthwatering tobacco and warm ganache notes leading the way, followed by a wave of fig, blackberry and black currant preserves. Shows remarkable definition already, even though the structure is strident. Tempting now, but just put this in the back of the cellar. Best from 2020 through 2035. 4,083 cases made. –JM $63.95

2014 Peter Michael Winery Les Pavots Proprietary Red Wine

The 2014 Proprietary Red Les Pavots (3,570 cases) is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc, 13% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot aged in mostly Taransaud barrels with a small helping of Darnajou thrown in. This wine is fabulous in the vintage, although certainly less profoundly concentrated and extracted, as well as structured, compared to the 2013, which was off-the-charts fabulous. This is a brilliant wine, charming, with front-end loaded plum, blackcurrant and black raspberry fruit interwoven with graphite, tar and truffle notes. The wine has sumptuous texture, sweet, velvety tannin, and a long, full-bodied finish. It should drink well for at least two decades. $225 Limited

2004 Dominus Estate Proprietary Red

Like so many 2004s, the 2004 Dominus is a full-bodied wine showing brilliantly at age ten, with loads of complex cedar, kirsch, Christmas fruitcake, black currants and spice box. It has a creamy, opulent texture, but remains light on its feet. This sexy wine is showing exceptionally well and is best drunk over the next 10-15 years. Not one of the longest-lived wines from Dominus, but it is certainly at a wonderful point in its evolution right now. Market $150-$250. (6 bottles available at $190/bottle.
