2014 AldenAlli Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

Winemaker Notes: AldenAlli is the culmination and celebration of two families’ deep history of food, wine and hospitality, manifested in a wine that speaks of place and tradition. There is a rich tradition of Pinot Noir in the Kosta and Lagasse families. Whether it be the Burgundy wines introduced to Dan Kosta at the young age of five, the nightly presence of Sonoma County Pinot Noir on the dinner table, or the abundant array of Pinot Noir at the restaurants of the Lagasse family, Pinot Noir has brought us together in so many ways. AldenAlli began as a convergence of friendship, family and culinary passions and along with winemaker, Shane Finley, their Pinot Noir tells that story. Vineyards: Campbell Ranch and Lancel Creek Clones: 115, Pommard. Production: 750 cases. $56 Our Price $ (Arrives 5/31/17)

2014 Tor Kenward Family Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Herb Lamb Vineyard

The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Herb Lamb Vineyard comes from the lower hillsides of Howell Mountain. Tor Kenward uses the middle section of this vineyard that was earlier used by Ann Colgin for her Herb Lamb bottlings. This wine has always been noted by its blueberry component, touch of licorice and underbrush. This wine has all of that, medium to full body, beautiful acidity and loads of fruit. It is drinking well now and should continue to do so for 15-20 or more years. $175

2013 Hayfork Wine Co Cabernet Sauvignon Llewelling Ranch

The exciting 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon from the respected Lewelling Ranch in St. Helena is a blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petit Verdot. Aged 20 months in 70% new French oak, this has a relatively realistic price point for Napa. There are 700 cases of this opaque purple wine, which exhibits classic Pauillac notes of Christmas fruitcake, allspice, cedar wood, black and red currants as well as hints of underbrush and earth. It is medium to full-bodied, deliciously fruity and pure, with light to moderate tannin in the finish. Drink it over the next 15+ years. $75

2014 Titus Napa Cabernet Sauvignon

An excellent value is undoubtedly the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon, a blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Malbec, Petit Verdot and Merlot. For $55.00 one rarely finds this level of quality in Napa. The wine has a dense purple color, a good sweet kiss of crème de cassis, blackberry and licorice. Graphite makes an appearance in this medium to full-bodied, delicious wine that can be drunk now or cellared for 10-15 years. $55 Our Price $41.69

2012 Silver Oak Napa Cabernet Sauvignon

Winemaker Notes: Our 2012 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon artfully combines the classic elegance of the old world and the ripe fruit of California. It displays an opaque garnet color with a bouquet driven by fruity aromas of blackberry liqueur and hoisin sauce. It also offers the savory components of sage and molasses. These complex aromatics are complemented by sandalwood and nutmeg characteristics indicative of American oak aging. This is a well-structured wine with a compact and rich mid-palate buttressed by silky tannins and generous acidity. Given proper cellaring, this wine will provide drinking pleasure through 2037. 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot $125 Our Price $

2014 Lucienne Pinot Noir Lone Oak Vineyard

The completely destemmed (as is everything from this estate) 2014 Lucienne Pinot Noir Lone Oak Vineyard spent 13 months in 35-45% new French oak, with malolactic fermentation in barrel. It's a sensational Pinot Noir that's probably the finest wine I've tasted from this estate, which seems to have hit another level recently. Giving up lots of black raspberry, framboise, crushed spice and floral aromas and flavors, it's medium to full-bodied, has a silky texture, fine tannin and a great finish. There are 600 cases of this beauty out there, and it's well worth the effort to track down. $50 Our Price $36.99
