2015 Scarlett Cabernet Sauvignon McGah Family Vineyard

As for the 2015s, as you might expect from this high-quality vintage in Northern California, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon McGah Family Vineyard is a fruit bomb. Blackcurrants, blackberry, spring flowers and pen ink, in a full-bodied, in-your-face and rather flamboyant, dramatic style, are all part of its appeal and personality. A huge, richly textured wine, the 2015 North Coast Syrah offers unreal quality for the money. The 50% whole clusters are pretty much buried by the sheer intensity of the fruit. $28

O'Shaughnessy 2014 Napa Cabernet Sauvignon

O'Shaughnessy's 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is one of the very best values readers will find in top-notch Napa Valley Cabernet. A host of dark red cherry, plum, mocha, spice, leather and tobacco give the 2014 a good deal of aromatic complexity to balance the natural richness of the year. Unlike the single-vineyard Cabernets, the Napa Valley bottling will drink well pretty much upon release. This is an absolutely impeccable Cabernet Sauvignon from O'Shaughnessy and winemaker Sean Capiaux. $80 Our Price $74.99 (Back in stock this afternoon)
