Winemaker Notes: The 2013 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is dark ruby in color and entices you with a nose of raspberry, cassis and loose pipe tobacco. This full-bodied wine has an assertively silky structure and is notably spicy on the palate. Flavors of sage and blackberry mark the wine’s entry. The strong acidity in the mid-palate is followed by a lingering finish. Winemaker Notes: Flirting with perfection, the 2016 McGah Family Cabernet Sauvignon is a seamless, flawless and a compelling Rutherford beauty. Unbelievable complexity and layers intermingle with aromas of berry compote, cassis with a black cherry core that jumps from the glass. The mid palate is a silky flow of abundant blue and black fruits, followed with an opulent, full-bodied mouthfeel. The integrated structure and polished tannins carry through to a detailed and long finish. This blend from five of our Cabernet Sauvignon blocks on the estate showcases what an amazing terroir the McGah Family Vineyard is.
