Antonio Galloni, Vinous 92 Points
2014 Stewart Napa Cabernet Sauvignon

Stewart's 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is a gorgeous wine that will appeal most to readers who enjoy unctuous, full-throttle Cabernets. Racy, powerful and intense with loads of dark cherry, mocha and exotic spice flavors, shows the most sumptuous side of the vintage. As is so often the case, the Stewart Cabernet is flamboyant yet also well-proportioned. $70 Our Price $59.99

2009 Doisy-Vedrines Barsac

Tasted at the château, the 2009 Château Doisy-Védrines already exudes impressive breeding on the nose with complex, beguiling scents of dried honey, quince, walnut and just a touch of barley sugar. The palate is medium-bodied with layers of viscous, honeyed fruit, superb acidity and wonderful precision on the finish. There is a sense of completeness and harmony to this Doisy-Védrines. The 2009 represents the apogee for the estate and a Barsac destined to generously repay long-term cellaring. $60 Our Price $49.95

2016 Paul Lato Chardonnay le Souvenir Sierra Madre Vineyard

From one of the oldest vineyards in the Santa Maria Valley, Paul Lato’s superb 2016 Chardonnay le Souvenir Sierra Madre Vineyard reveals attractive aromas of yellow orchard fruit, citrus zest, peach and honeycomb. On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied, with more textural glossiness than the Belle de Jour, underpinned by bright acids and concluding with an intense, chalky finish. This is quite structurally tight-knit right now and will need a couple of years in the cellar to blossom. $80

2014 Bacio Divino Janzen Cloudy's Vineyard Napa Cabernet Sauvignon

2016 O'Shaughnessy
Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is blended of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Malbec, 5% Merlot, 3% St. Macaire, 2% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot. Deep garnet-purple colored, it reveals notions of scorched earth, tar, tilled black soil and fungi over a core of blackcurrant cordial, aniseed, dark chocolate and espresso plus a waft of tobacco. Full-bodied, concentrated and very earthy in the mouth, the rich, black fruits are superbly framed by firm, grainy tannins and just enough freshness, finishing long and mineral laced. $80 Our Price $74.99

2014 Galerie Cabernet Sauvignon Pleinair

The 2014 Napa Cabernet Sauvignon called Pleinair is a blend of 95.5% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest tiny quantities of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Loads of Christmas fruitcake, cedar wood, tobacco leaf, black currants and spice box all jump from the glass and from the flavors of this round, juicy, medium to full-bodied wine with silky tannins. Drink it over the next 15 or so years. $60 Our Price $49.99 (Back in stock)
