2015 Bootleg Prequel Proprietary Red Blend

One of the newer estates under the Jackson Family umbrella, Bootleg is managed by Kristy Melton, who’s turned out a brilliant Syrah blend in 2015. Made from 85% Syrah and 15% Petite Sirah, its deep purple color is followed by a peppery, meaty, dark fruited beauty that has full-bodied richness, complex notes of olives and spice, sweet tannin, and a great finish. It’s a pleasure-bent 2015 that should keep for a decade. $40 Liquidation Price $22.95 (Limited to stock on hand)

2013 Peter Franus Napa Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is superb. A host of graphite, grilled herbs, licorice and spice meld into a core of inky fruit in a rich, powerful Cabernet Sauvignon that is going to take at least a few years to fully come together. This is an unusually big, opulent wine from Peter Franus, but all the elements are in the right place. $48 Liquidation Price $36.95 (Limited to stock on hand)

2014 Immortal Estate
Cabernet Sauvignon Slope

As for the 2014s, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Slope from the Hidden Ridge vineyard does not suffer in comparison with the extraordinary efforts of 2013.
