Tortoise Creek 2018 Central Coast
Cuvée Jeanne Sauvignon Blanc

A range of squeezed citrus, from tangerine to grapefruit, shows on the nose of this bottling alongside apple rinds, struck stone and green banana. There is compelling tension to the sip, where kiwi flavors are rounded but crisp—a very reliable bottling each vintage. Best Buy. –M.K. $12 Our Price $8.25 (Delicious)

2017 Elizabeth Rose Chockablock Napa Red

Vineyard Notes: The Elizabeth Rose Red Blend comes from two vineyard sites in Yountville and Oakville. One is our 450-acre vineyard in Yountville, Napa Valley named Block House. Block House is the largest of our vineyards and is planted to several different grape varietals. The other vineyard is our 60-acre Pelissa Vineyard located on Oakville Crossroads directly behind our family winery. All vines are farmed 100% Certified Organic.

TASTING NOTES: This 2017 Red Blend, dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, will become your new everyday wine! The notes of dark red cherries & black currants jump from the glass. The aromas match the palate along with well-integrated cedar & toasted oak notes that frame these tannins. It is medium-bodied with a smooth and balanced finish. It is an incredibly elegant red blend from our estate vineyards in the Napa Valley. Have fun with this wine, what a value! 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, 19% Malbec, 3% Cab Franc. $28 Our Price $19.99 (Delicious)

ANTINORI Chianti Classico
Villa Antinori Riserva 2016

Black currant, cedar, olive, iron and tobacco aromas and flavors suggest Cabernet in the blend, in a positive sense. This red is fluid, elegant and firmly structured, with fine balance and a long, gripping finish. The taut profile shows the potential for aging. Best from 2022 through 2038. —B.S. $35 Our Price $27.75

2017 Jean-Claude Regnaudot et Fils
MARANGES 1ER CRU LA FUSSIÈRE

Producer Notes: Maranges is the southernmost appellation in the Côte de Beaune, and its reds have a long history of overachieving. From ancient Pinot vines farmed with great care and precision high on these south-facing slopes, the Regnaudots make deep, structured, powerhouse reds that taste much more expensive than they are. One of the appellation’s staunch traditionalists, Didier Regnaudot opts for long macerations without adding cultured yeast, and eschews fining and filtration to protect the pulpous flesh that coats his wines’ chewy tannins. The lieu-dit La Fussière yields a thick, dense Pinot Noir with the guts to age like the Maranges of old, but with enough voluptuous fruit to provide pleasure in the near term. $39 (Arrives 7/23/20)

2018 Forman La Grande Roche Napa Cabernet

Winemaker Notes: A wonderfully deep color leads into expectations of an impressive wine. Medoc or Napa, it’s hard to tell. Filled with spice of Bordeaux with the full body of a Napa Cabernet makes this wine so intriguing. Great extraction and a long finish. 78% Cabernet, 15% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petite Verdot and 2% Merlot. $40 (Arrives this afternoon)

2018 Fritz Haag Estate Riesling

The 2018 Riesling shows the clear, elegant, fresh and flinty bouquet of ripe yellow plums and peaches along with some beautiful phenolic notes. On the palate, this is an elegant, fine and perfectly round and balanced but also fresh and gorgeously juicy Riesling with a salty-piquant finish and the crystalline crunchiness of Brauneberg's slate soils. Tasted in March 2019. $22 Our Price $17.99

2018 Chateau Maupague
Cotes de Provence Sainte Victoire Rose

Producer Notes: The Sumeire family added Château Maupague to their collection of properties in 1991, with a goal of creating a classic rosé on par with the finest of the region, light in color, fresh, aromatic and dry. Rosé’s with a majority of Grenache are rare for the region and result in a much more complex wine that transcends the appellation. Both the Cuvée Cabaret from the younger vines on the estate and the Cuvée Sainte Victoire from the older vines offer amazing value and remarkably high quality, while beautifully representing the best of Provence. 70% Grenache, 30% Cinsault. $24 Our Price $12.35

2018 Bastide De La Ciselette Bandol Rose

Winemaker Notes: Pale with salmon reflections. Nose: Complex, on a floral frame and exotic fruits. Palate: A balanced and fruity attack. The finish is expressed on the floral and roundness characteristic of the roses of the appellation. $30 Our Price $14.95
