From one of the cooler sites they work with, the 2018 Roar Rosella’s Vineyard shines with it’s vibrant, pure yet complex style. Giving up lots of mulberry and black cherry as well as ample sappy flower and spice notes. This beauty is medium to full-bodied, has a juicy, elegant texture, perfectly integrated acidity and has a great finish. Drink it over the next decade as well. $63 (Arrives 9/16/20)

2018 Roar Garys’ Pinot Noir

The 2018 Pinot Noir Garys' Vineyard comes all from the Pisoni and Calera clones and saw 54% new French oak. Another complex, Burgundian style release from this team, it offers notes of wild strawberries, cured meats, iodine, and damp earth, with more violet and floral notes developing with time in the glass. Beautifully layered, pure, and silky on the palate, with polished tannins, it shows the class of this great vintage and is going to drink brilliantly for at least a decade. Deep garnet-purple colored, it comes proudly prancing out of the glass with happy Morello cherries, baked raspberries, boysenberries and warm plums notes plus suggestions of pencil lead, red roses, black tea and bay leaves.
