Taittinger Prelude Grands Crus NVTasting Note: The wine’s brilliant, pale yellow color with silvery reflections indicates the high proportion of Chardonnay. This Champagne is subtle and fresh on the nose, with mineral aromas that quickly give way to notes of elderflowers and spicy cinnamon. In the mouth, lean mineral Chardonnay notes delicately balance the aromatic strength of Pinot Noir. The lively palate is dominated by fresh citrus and white peaches in syrup. Over time, this Champagne develops to become more full-bodied, round and silky with a rich, lingering finish that bursts with flavor.

The “Pigeoulet” and “Mégaphone” are fresh, rich in fruit, pleasantly representative of their terroir, and easy to appreciate young. 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 5% Cinsault and 5% Carignan.
Sarah's Vineyard Santa Clara Pinot Noir 2016Winemaker Notes : Our 2016 Santa Clara Valley Pinot Noir is a spicy fruit pie in a glass. Black cherry and plum aromas and flavors jump to the nose and palate. There’s an underlying savory current of mushroom and soy sauce. A touch of vanilla bean and spice from the barrels both fill out the “middle” and complete the long finish. Tim suggests pairing to grilled salmon or a pancetta-wrapped pork tenderloin. Enjoy now through 2021.

Domaine Faiveley Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Pruliers 2016Winery Notes: Domaine Faiveley combines the principles of modern winemaking methods with the time honored traditions that have been practiced for centuries within their 19th century cellars. Each terroir and each vintage, benefits from special attention which makes the cuvées unique. Each bottle therefore becomes the faithful reflection of its terroir. Grapes are hand harvested and sorted upon arrival at the domaine. Following a short maceration the must undergoes primary fermentation in a combination of stainless steel and wooden vats. The young wines are aged in 70% lightly toasted new oak barrels for 14 to 16 months.

The harvests took place later than usual in order to allow the grapes to reach their optimum ripeness levels. Our wines present fruity aromas. The wines are smooth and fleshy. This promises to be a very distinctive vintage. Intense garnet red hue and aromas of fruit, oak and spice on the nose. The palate reveals a smooth, rich attack, velvety tannins and good balance. A delicate, seductive and very elegant wine.

Taken Napa Valley Red Blend 2015Winemaker Notes The nose of this opulent blend is incredibly flashy with abundant aromas of red currant, raspberry, blackberry cobbler, spice and a hint of underbrush. The French oak is subtle, yet present. This powerful wine boasts copious amounts of juicy, ripe red fruit characteristics and is extraordinarily soft and supple. In addition, hints of lingering milk chocolate and cherry truffle notes dance on the back palate.

Alzinger Ried Mühlpoint Smaragd Grüner Veltliner 2017Winery Notes: The vineyard is located on the slope of the Steinertal. While in the upper part of the influence of the mountain is still clearly felt and gneiss penetrates to the surface, the lower half is increasingly characterized by the level and continuously deeper loam layers. Aromatically, these factors are noticeable above all through pronounced spiciness. Spicy and salty, fruity background; powerful texture, concentrated body, lively acidity, always straightforward and focused.

Rich and full on the palate, its expressions of raspberry, Bing cherry and clove spices are balanced by sweet oak and lush tannins. Bold and complex in character, this Pinot Noir is indeed a direct expression of its Sonoma Coast origins.
