Lloyd Carneros Chardonnay 2015
We are excited to release our new 2015 Carneros Chardonnay. Sourced from the Home and Green Acres Blocks from Sangiacomo Vineyard, as well as a small amount fruit from the Truchard Vineyard, this is a fantastic expression of California Chardonnay. Picked at the peak of ripeness, this Chardonnay is then barrel fermented and left on the lees until we get ready to bottle. Flavors of tropical fruits, pear and apple are supported by rich notes of vanillin, leading into a powerful and succulent finish. Cheers and enjoy!
Caymus Special Selection Cabernet Sauvignon 2014Caymus Special Selection is the flagship wine of the Wagner family and is comprised of the very best barrels of the vintage. This wine is not produced in difficult years. Caymus prides itself on producing wines that are as approachable in youth as well at maturity. Aromas and flavors which can only be achieved through "hang time" - a technique which chances the loss of crop if early winter sets in. Leaving the fruit to "hang" on the vine unusually long develops suppleness, increases color, and matures the tannins of the grapes. The wines are abundant in textural tannins yet soft as velvet. Crop thinning, allowing measured sunlight to reach the vine's fruit zone, and waiting for increased ripeness are all part of our viticultural practices. Caymus Cabernets offer a wide array of aromas and flavors including cocoa, cassis and vanilla.
Château Canon Canon La Gaffeliere 2014This cuts a wide swath, with mouthwatering tobacco and warm ganache notes leading the way, followed by a wave of fig, blackberry and black currant preserves. Shows remarkable definition already, even though the structure is strident. Tempting now, but just put this in the back of the cellar. Best from 2020 through 2035. 4,083 cases made.
Pont Juicy Villages Cuvée Unique No. 84 2013Winemaker Notes: Russian River Red Blend, is 60% Syrah, 20%Grenache and 20% Mourvedre. It’s hard not to think of Gigondas when smelling this satisfying red. It combines all the sweetness of a great vintage with compelling notes of spice, tobacco, fig and that elusive character the Frenchcall garrigue or what in California we call chapparal. It is the complex interwoven aromas of the shrubland mix of Provence herbs that lends aromatic complexity to this blend. The aromas of the Rhone garrigue are savory as well as sweetly perfumed, combining lavender, sage, wild thyme and artemisia. These aromatic compounds make this generous fruit-driven wine intricate, complete and satisfying. It performs best with grilled foods, lamb, roasted or braised meats and flavorful cheeses. Enjoy now through 2018
Sinor-LaVallee Pinot Gris San Luis Obispo 2015
Pont Pont Royal 2014Winemaker Notes: The 2014 Pont Neuf “Pont Royal” Chardonnay showed a bold personality right from the juice to finished wine. It reminds us of our 2010 from the same vineyard, huge in stature yet so light on its feet. While retaining all the fine characteristics of the Zio Tony Vineyard, it also presents silky-weighted fruit with heady aromatics of Meyer Lemon, toasted brioche and white peaches. Goldridge soils in the vineyard lend broad and complex mineral flavors and generous texture to Pont Royal.
Reichsgraf Von Kesselstatt Scharzhofberger Riesling Spätlese 2013Wines originating from Scharzhofberg are distinctive for their penetrating, salty mineral tones and refined elegance. Dunn Vineyards Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon 2012The Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon is massive in fruit and tannins.
EnRoute Les Pommiers Pinot Noir 2014The 2014 vintage marked another early harvest for EnRoute, beginning eight days earlier than the previous year. Budbreak was 15 days ahead of schedule, and ideal growing conditions throughout the season led to a bountiful crop. The warm days and mild nights allowed for grapes with rich color, abundant tannins, and intense aromas and flavors; we knew early on that the 2014 vintage had remarkable potential just from tasting the fruit. All vineyards were harvested at peak maturity, capturing the best of each vineyard, block and clone. We started picking in the warmest, northernmost vineyard on August 21st, then finished five weeks later in our coolest vineyard in Green Valley.
Robert Mondavi Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2014Everything we love about Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is here: a rich texture with silky tannins and balancing freshness; deep aromas and flavors of blackberries and dark plums, dried herbs and violets with a subtle hint of leather; and a luxuriously long finish that allows these complex flavors to linger on and on.
Sinor-LaVallee San Luis Obispo County Syrah 2014Syrah was the first wine we made from Bassi Vineyard, proving to be the touchstone of a journey that ultimately led us to acquiring the property. We were blown away by the fruit's depth and symmetry, and its signatures of white pepper, lavendar and tapenade. These qualities have held true ever since. Our two Syrah blocks are planted along the eastern shoulder of the ranch, and we employ multiple picks to foster richness and dimension in the wine. This is a classic marine-climate Syrah, right on the pivot point of power and elegance.
Raeburn Russian River Chardonnay 2015Raeburn Russian River Valley Chardonnay shows an array of complex fruit tones ranging from white pear and apple to nectarine. The fruit is beautifully complemented with toasted oak, vanilla and hints of warm Crème Brûlée with a balanced and elegant finish.
Ancient Peaks Zinfandel 2015Winemaker Notes: The 2014 Zinfandel opens exuberantly with aromas of raspberry, boysenberry, olallieberry pie and high-toned oak. The palate is juicy and jammy with luscious flavors of blackberry, black cherry and vanilla cream. A dash of black pepper lingers on a clean, composed finish that goes against the grain of more unrestrained Zinfandels.

Sinor-LaVallee Bassi Vineyard Pinot Noir 20142013 Pinot Noir White Label - Bassi Vineyard The Pinot Noir White Label is the yin to the yang of its riper companion from the Black Label lineup. This wine is all about exploring Bassi Vineyard through a taut, focused expression of the Pinot Noir grape. As such, it is a selection of early picks from the vintage that lock in the fruit's cool-climate character. The result is a Pinot Noir that revolves around floral, spicy, and early-season cherry qualities. Natural acidity is pronounced, delivering mouthwatering freshness across the palate.
Failla Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2015After cutting his winemaking teeth assisting a consultant in France's Rhone Valley during the difficult 1992 and 1993 vintages, Ehren Jordan went on to make powerful Petite Sirahs and Zinfandels for Turley Wine Cellars. The lessons he learned in France about maximizing ripeness in challenging conditions now serve Jordan at the 85-acre property on the Sonoma Coast, about 2.5 miles from the Pacific Ocean. In 1998 Ehren planted another parcel contiguous to their first, and in 2002 planted it with five acres of rootstock before grafting six selections of long-coveted Pinot Noir scion material the following year. Ehren's commitment to the highest standards of viticultural practice, coupled with his education in France and throughout California, is expressed every bottle of Failla Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
