Winemaker's Notes :

The aromas are very complex with flowers, red and white fruits aromas. On the palate the wine is rounded, full bodied with a long lasting aniseed and fruity finish.

VinousBrilliant orange-pink. Bright and minerally on the nose, displaying intense redcurrant, raspberry and orange pith scents and hints of candied rose and fennel. Sappy and expansive, offering concentrated citrus fruit and red berry flavors that tighten up steadily with aeration. Rich yet lithe, with excellent finishing focus and persistence and a sexy floral note sneaking in late.

Wine AdvocateFlat out gorgeous, with layers of framboise, Bing cherry, strawberries and flowers, the 2015 Tavel la Dame Rousse is medium-bodied, silky and elegant on the palate, with both textural richness and freshness. Drink this beauty, with a meal, over the coming year or two.

Wine EnthusiastDespite Christophe Delorme's untimely passing before the 2015 harvest, this Tavel stands as a fine testament to his family's perseverance. It's full, round and rich, with cherry-berry fruit and hints of peach and crushed stone. Drink it over the rest of 2017.
