Bishop's Peak Pinot Noir 2015
Produced entirely from Pinot Noir grown in Coastal San Luis Obispo County, combining both purchased and estate grown grapes, this wine is bottled before the next harvest to preserve the fresh red fruit flavors and charm that distinguish the varietal. Translucent garnet in appearance, the 2015 Bishop's Peak Pinot Noir offers a bouquet of sour cherry, wet gravel, and a hint of cinnamon spice. The palate is soft and delicate with notes of strawberry, raspberry, and bay leaf and finishes with a pop of acidity.
Enjoy this pinot noir with fresh ahi poke or roasted beet and fennel salad.

VinousBright red. Heady cherry and red berry scents show excellent clarity and pick up hints of smoky minerals, succulent herbs and candied flowers with air. Sappy, incisive black raspberry, bitter cherry and spicecake flavors show very good clarity and develop a sweet hint of vanilla on the back half. Powerful yet lithe, showing firm closing bite and lingering rose and allspice qualities
Wine AdvocateThe 2015 Bishop's Peak Pinot Noir displays a pale to medium ruby-purple color and notes of kirsch, cranberry sauce and raspberry tart with a waft of underbrush. Medium-bodied and giving a great intensity of red berry preserves and earthy flavors, it has a chewy texture and refreshing finish. Great value!
