75 Wine Company The Sum 2014

Notes from Winemaker Tuck Beckstoffer:

The 2014 vintage of The Sum boasts an inky deep purple color accompanied by a lovely nose of blueberries, espresso, and dark chocolate. Full bodied and multilayered, this wine exhibits what can be achieved through meticulous winemaking and blending. A fantastic wine that will quite easily age for 15 to 20 years but that also shows wonderfully right away. Blend: 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Petite Syrah, 10% Syrah.

Wine AdvocateThe 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon from California is a cross-county blend from Mendocino, Lake in San Luis Obispo, but it is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. It offers up the classic hallmark of tobacco leaf, blackcurrants, red cherries and loamy soil notes in a medium-bodied, exuberantly fruity, lush, pure style. I can't ask for much more Cabernet flavor at this price point. Drink it over the next 4-5 years.
