M. Chapoutier Les Vignes de Bila-Haut Cotes du Roussillon Blanc 2016
Medium-intensity lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of lemon and lime citrus zest, green apple, star fruit and honeysuckle.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied white blend is bright with some mid-palate complexity giving way to flavors suggested on the nose ultimately completing with a medium, citrus-zest-wrapped finish.
There is balance between the fruit and medium acidity that is refreshing.

Wine AdvocateThe 2016 Côtes du Roussillon Les Vignes de Bila Haut Blanc is a blend of 60% Grenache Blanc, 20% Macabeu and then smaller amounts of Marsanne and Vermentino. From a mix of estate terroirs (schistes, clay, limestone and granite), it has racy, vibrant aromas and flavors of lime, salty minerality and white peach. Medium-bodied, seamless and incredibly drinkable, it’s absolutely worth buying
