Chateau Brondelle Graves Grand Vin Rouge 2015
We're sorry, but this product is not currently available.
Chateau Brondelle has been in the Belloc family for over 100 years. It is located in one of the premium areas of Bordeaux, Graves, where many of the greatest Bordeaux wines are crafted.
Graves is so named because of the huge bed of gravel beneath the soil. The gravel provides proper drainage as well as minerals and nutrients, which give the grapes flavor and density. It is unquestionably as unique as it gets.
Our selection is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot. This is a classic combination. Of course, when you've been doing the same thing for 700 years, chances are you've got it pretty well figured out.

Wine AdvocateThe 2015 Château Brondelle has a lifted, floral bouquet with wild strawberry and cranberry scents that shows impressive detail. The palate is very well balanced with fine tannin, packed full of crisp, minerally red berry fruit and hints of bay leaf and white pepper towards the finish. This is an excellent red Graves from Château Brondelle that should give pleasure over a decade or more.
James SucklingSurprisingly firm and linear with a focused berry and cherry character, as well as hints of chocolate and spices. Medium to full body, bright acidity and a chewy finish. Give it one or two years to round out the tannins. Try in 2020.
