The 2015 Arrendell Vineyard Pinot Noir is a deep, ruby-colored wine with complex aromas of blackcurrants, black cherries, forest floor and violets interlaced with a savory grilled herb nuance. Black cherries and kirsch flavors complement silky tannins and a multi-layered mouthfeel. The lingering and nuanced finish is a hallmark of all bottlings from this amazing vineyard site.

This is a dense, juicy wine, with up-front richness to its bouquet of red cherry and strawberry. The acidity is lasting and refreshing, with silky tannins that add texture and grace.

From the oldest vines planted in the 1970s, the 2015 Pinot Noir Arrendell Vineyard is a perfumed, spicy wine that's just singing on the nose. Ripe cherries, raspberries, candied orange, and exotic spices give way to a medium to full-bodied, supple, seamless Pinot Noir. It has bright acidity, sweet, vibrant, fruit, notable tannin, and a great finish. Like a lot of the wines here, it has the fruit to shine, but this is certainly one of the more structured and tannic wines in the lineup.

The 2015 Pinot Noir Arrendell Vineyard is terrific. Rich, ample and enveloping, the 2015 is wonderfully complete. The new oak, which was evident from barrel, has integrated very nicely. Sumptuous and racy, with tons of aromatic and flavor breadth, the 2015 has terrific balance of fruit, acids and structure. The old Martini clones yield a Pinot with beguiling complexity and nuance. The Arrendell remains one of the most distinctive Pinots in the Hartfort Court range.

Pale to medium ruby-purple colored, the 2015 Hartford Court Pinot Noir Arrendell Vineyard has compelling chocolate-covered cherries, raspberry pie and warm mulberries nose with touches of potpourri, Ceylon tea and tobacco leaf. Medium to full-bodied, very finely structured and very fresh, it gives intense black berry and savory layers, finishing on a lingering earthy note. 409 cases produced.
