Wine SpectatorThis mouthwatering Champagne is soft and creamy in texture, with a finely knit mix of ripe strawberry, pastry cream and candied pink grapefruit zest, showing a rich hint of smoky toasted brioche. Lingering finish. Disgorged June 2016. Drink now through 2021. 750 cases made.
Wine AdvocateThis disgorgement of the NV Cuvée des Moines Brut Rosé is from September 2017 and is (probably) based on the 2014 vintage. The salmon colored wine leads to a delicate, fresh and vinous nose with intense red fruit and floral aromas and a refined chalkiness. It's a bit reductive perhaps but nicely round and fruity on the elegant and refined palate. An excellent cuvée of Pinot Meunier (40%) and equal parts of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Tasted October 2018 from lot L8S998903.
Wine EnthusiastRipe and fruity, this wine also has a tight texture that adds pleasure as well as complexity. It is full of red berry flavors that contrast with the tangy, mineral character that makes this style of wine so good with food. Drink now.
