Tasting Notes:
Salmon skin color. Fresh peach, apricot and raspberry aromas are bright and pure. Firm and well-focused, with brisk, tangy red currant and wild strawberry flavors, a firm mineral backbone and serious concentration. Elegant and precise, with vivid red berry and mineral tones on the long finish.

This mouthwatering Champagne is soft and creamy in texture, with a finely knit mix of ripe strawberry, pastry cream and candied pink grapefruit zest, showing a rich hint of smoky toasted brioche. Lingering finish. Disgorged June 2016. Drink now through 2021. 750 cases made.

This disgorgement of the NV Cuvée des Moines Brut Rosé is from September 2017 and is (probably) based on the 2014 vintage. The salmon colored wine leads to a delicate, fresh and vinous nose with intense red fruit and floral aromas and a refined chalkiness. It's a bit reductive perhaps but nicely round and fruity on the elegant and refined palate. An excellent cuvée of Pinot Meunier (40%) and equal parts of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Tasted October 2018 from lot L8S998903.
