The nose displays an intense bouquet of white musk, grapefruit and fresh rose petals, with a hint of blackcurrant blossom. It then opens on fragrances of kiwi, nectarine and mandarin zests. The palate is an explosion of white grapefruit and stone fruit. Creamy and savory, the mouthfeel turns to vanilla bean and cardamom, with delicious comforting texture and lingering freshness.
The aromas to this great white show wonderful sherbet, limes, green melon, salt and honey blossom. Full to medium body, with a vertical, compact fruit presence, firmness and great length. Such energy and intensity with focus and elegance. Best white of Napa at the moment? Drink or hold.
