Salvestrin Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2016
|Region||California, Napa Valley, St Helena|
Salvestrin is a family affair that began way back in 1932, who was recently voted one of Napa Valley's Top 10 Small Undiscovered Wineries. Their Cabernet is fantastic, with everything you would expect from the varietal: Black cherry, blackberry on the nose, with a touch of spice. Full bodied, with supple tannin and a lengthy finish.
Made up of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot, 3% Syrah and 1% Cabernet Franc, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley has a deep garnet-purple color and nose of cassis, earth, red and black cherries, sage and tobacco. The palate is medium to full-bodied and chewy with an herbal lift.
