Winemaker Notes:
The barrel fermentation does lend a certain richness and combined with sur lees aging yields a toasty, almost crème brulee character to enhance and blend with the beautiful fruit. I love the flavors – crisp, but not thin, with wonderful, bright fruit complexity. Very sophisticated, this will be a lot of fun to follow and will develop for many years.
