Law Estate Wines Prima 2014
|Region||California, Central Coast, Paso Robles|
|Brand||Law Estate Wines|
Without delay, the 2014 Prima showcases a collection of inky swatches that lead to a dark midnight core. Notes of blackberry, cassis and savory leather-bound spices parade on the nose, while ripe and round tannins engulf the palate and promise a long life of enjoyment. It’s lively, electric acidity and purely opulent texture, create a cherished and rare experience not always typical of Mourvèdre. The finish is unyielding and will continue to produce a graceful finesse over the next 15-20 years.
Made from 100% Mourvèdre, the 2014 Prima displays a very deep purple-black color and offers up a nose of black currant cordial, preserved plums and baked blackberries with underlying charcoal, sage, black olives and damp soil hints. The full-bodied palate is full-on savory, firm and fresh, with lovely herbal layers and a long earthy finish.
