Another beautiful wine that's a Northern Rhône look-alike, the 2018 Syrah Sonoma Coast sports a nearly opaque ruby/plum color to go with an attractive nose of ripe red and black berry fruits intermixed with smoked game, ground pepper, leafy herbs, bay leaf, and a touch of graphite. Medium-bodied on the palate, it has a rich, fleshy texture, notable freshness, and bright tannins, all of which give it a clean, classic, very Northern Rhône-like style.
