The 2013 Extra-Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru has also turned out beautifully, unwinding in the glass with notes of citrus oil, peach, white flowers and freshly baked bread. Medium to full-bodied, seamless and complete, it's taut and chiseled, with serious reserves of concentration and a long, mineral finish. Disgorged in spring 2021, while its quality is apparent, this is predictably a little introverted out of the gates, so I look forward to revisiting it later this year.

This red is expressive, offering a core of cherry and raspberry fruit shaded with truffle, woodsy underbrush, licorice and sweet spices. Open and supple until the finish, where the dense tannins emerge, showing fine balance and length. Best from 2028 through 2045. 708 cases made, 250 cases imported.

The 2013 Blanc de Blancs is a tasty, easygoing wine, showing lemon peel, white flowers, crushed rocks and white pepper. This airy, gracious Blanc de Blancs is easy to drink and enjoy. There is enough freshness to support a number of years of fine drinking. Dosage is 2 grams per liter. Disgorged: June, 2021.
