Wonderfully balanced with a long finish, it aims to please any pinot noir lover. Food accompaniments include lamb, grilled line-caught salmon, BBQ chicken, and duck confit.

Focused and well integrated aromas of dark plum, raspberry, scarlet-red rose and all of the baking spices make for a very elegant and appealing nose on this bottling. Baked boysenberry and Luxardo cherry flavors are cut by creamy chai spices on the palate.

As promised, over 12 unique clones are used to produce this stunner. With power behind it, notes of black plum are a stand-out, amidst anise, dried lavender, cola, and espresso. Armed with luxurious concentration of dark blue fruit and color, this Pinot also possesses an inner delicate soul.
International Wine Report

The 2022 Twelve Clones was aged in 36% new French oak for 9 months and pours a medium ruby-blue core with a light purple rim in the glass. Purple flowers and rich Marionberries hit the nose up front, while secondary notes of sweet baking spices, cedary herbs, and baked red raspberries play second fiddle. It finished with lovely vanilla bean and blue fruit tones alongside moderate acidity and sweet tannins.

The 2022 Pinot Noir Twelve Clones is so easy to like. Soft in texture and finessed, notes of rose petals, cranberry and black tea unfold in the glass. Notably light on its feet compared to the majority of Pinots in the appellation, the Twelve Clones is charming in its less imposing style. Attractive blood-orange tones highlight the finish.
