Winery Notes:
2021 delivered an ideal vintage. An early spring, consistent mild-warm growing season led us to a
reasonably early harvest. The pleasant harvest weather gave us plenty of hang time and excellent
concentration during the fermentation process. Elements of Rainier cherries, red fruit jams, and notes of
dark chocolate dust. The tannins are nicely integrated, not overbearing, and seamlessly lift the fruit on
the palate providing a platform for a long finish.

In the same ballpark as the Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2021 Cabernet Franc Caitlin's Select has lots of red and black fruits as well as those classic Franc underbrush, savory herb, and graphite-like nuances. Medium to full-bodied, balanced, and complex, with perfectly integrated tannins and acidity, it's another fabulous wine from this estate that will evolve for 15+ years if well stored.
