Winery Notes;
Deep red colour with black highlights.The aroma evokes ripe red and black fruits such as blackcurrant and also pepper and liquorice. Smooth, fruity and balanced wine, structured by delicate and silky tannins. Nicely complements cold cuts, red grilled meats or in sauce, cheeses.

A solid and compact red with notes of blackberries, dark plums, tar, leather, chocolate and hazelnuts. Medium- to- full-bodied with fine, firm tannins. Structured at this stage with volume and texture on the mid-palate. Excellent length in the finish. Best after 2025.

A blend of 40% each Grenache and Syrah, plus 20% Mourvèdre, all aged in concrete, the 2020 La Clape Classique is marked by distracting notes of struck match that partially obscure dark plum and dark chocolate notes. Give it plenty of air prior to service. While full-bodied, it's not that rich or concentrated, but it does show a pleasantly velvety texture on the finish.
