Winery Notes:
Planted in 1902, the Longuicher Herrenberg vineyard is a higher section of un-grafted vines, grown on devonian slate soils with volcanic incusions which make the soil appear red.
Very juicy with tons of peach, apricot and guava. However, this also has so much minty and tarragon freshness, the balance of fruit and mineral acidity joyfully spot-on. Drink now.

It’s hard to resist the warm peach fruit and baking spice aromas of this succulent Kabinett. However, on the palate this has an exciting twist of cassis freshness. Excellent vitality. From up to 100-year-old ungrafted vines. Vegan.

The 2022 Riesling Longuicher Herrenberg Kabinett was harvested at the top of the slope from just over 100-year-old vines. There is still some reduction clouding the nose. The palate has peachy, rounded sweetness, much fruit and depth. Freshness frames these impressions, and lemon pith is vivid, supplying beautiful balance. Finished at 35g/L of residual sweetness and 8.5g/L of acidity.

This seductive kabinett offers aromas of wet stone, with plenty of minerality tied to the intense flavors of Honeycrisp apple, green tea and dandelion flavors which are built on an elegant structure. A long finish of jellied citrus lingers inviting you to reach for more.
