The 2023 Erdener Treppchen Riesling Spätlese was picked two weeks later than the Kabinett at 90° Oechsle and without botrytis. The wine opens with an intense, precise and coolish, slate-driven and crunchy bouquet of ripe (and tropical) stone fruit aromas. Dense, intense and lush on the palate, this is a tight, clear and saline Spätlese with crystalline and savory acidity and a highly stimulating finish. 8% stated alcohol. Screw-cap closure. Tasted at the domaine from AP 10 24 in January 2025.
