Cakebread Napa Valley Chardonnay 2017
This wine has a pretty, floral nose with fresh citrus, orange blossom and white peach, but the real treat is in the mouth. The viscosity coats the palate; it is weighty on the tongue yet well-balanced with acidity. The finish is clean with a nice zing and lingering minerality intertwined with pear and apple lemon.

Adaptation Adaptation by Odette Cabernet Sauvignon 2015Winemaker Notes : In 2015, we continued to work with our favorite local growers to craft this wine, one that truly represents the broader Napa Valley appellation. The backbone of the blend is sourced from Ink Grade (on the backside of Howell Mountain), which provides the framework and structure. We move our way down to the valley floor where we incorporate Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from the Stags Leap District, Yountville and Oak Knoll appellations. This immense diversity and range within the Napa Valley allowed us to produce a wine that is emblematic of the unique Napa Valley terroir in an approachable, up-front style. The 2015 Adaptation Cabernet Sauvignon redefines approachability - a fusion of fruit flavors that include wild blackberries, mulberries, sweet cherries and cocoa dipped blueberries invade your senses followed by wispy notes of forest floor and bittersweet chocolate. An exuberant, multi-dimensional mouth feel is complemented by dynamic acidity that forges freshness, energy and length to the palate. Blend: 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot

On the palate, layered flavors of bing cherry, chocolate, mocha, vanilla bean, and warming spice round out this rich and balanced wine. Joh. Jos. Prum Graacher Himmelreich Kabinett Riesling 2016Winemaker Notes : Despite its still youthful freshness it shows the fine fruity Riesling characteristic and an underlying hint of mineral from the blue/grey Devonian slate soil. Serve this refreshing wine slightly chilled! As aperitif and, especially when more matured, in combination with seafood or poultry.
Red Stitch Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2014Tasting Notes: A blend of three Cabernet vineyards in Coombsville, the cool southern area of Napa, plus a touch of Malbec, this is a dense wine, chewy and opaque. It’s fragrant, highly expressive and savory on the nose: pungent cured olives; bay leaf. Despite its considerable size, it’s highly structured, with tannins and acid that have years of mellowing ahead of them, framing a core of brooding black fruit that hasn’t quite yet emerged in full force. A ripe, generous wine fit for a steak.
Austin Hope Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon 2016Winemaker Notes : Dark ruby in color, the 2016 Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon expresses aromas of freshly picked black currants, ripe black cherries and blackberries, with subtle notes of violets, mocha and dried spices. On the palate, it’s a big, powerful, modern-styled wine layered with heaps of juicy blackberry and cherry fruit, while nuances of cedar, clove, nutmeg and vanilla bean round out the long smooth finish. It’s full-bodied and rich, balanced by fresh acidity and firm, polished tannins.

Beaulieu Vineyard Georges de Latour Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2015Winery Note: The 2015 vintage influenced our signature Georges de Latour Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon by crafting a wine small in yield, but mighty in concentration, depth and elegance. The bouquet shows beautiful freshness with a cascade of red and dark berry fruit notes followed by hints of rose petal and violet. Rich, with a full-bodied structure on the palate, the wine is complex and expressive, revealing layers of blackcurrant, bright raspberry, dark cherry and cassis, followed by hints of cedar, cinnamon, clove and mocha. Plush tannins support the expansive palate, while impeccably balanced acidity adds vibrancy and freshness. Well integrated notes of vanilla and toasted oak spices - from aging in new French oak barrels - heighten the aromas and linger on the finish. To enjoy this wine at its full potential, we recommend at least five years of bottle aging; however if you can’t wait, decant before serving.
DuMol Wester Reach Pinot Noir 2016Complex, layered aromas - red cherry, black pepper, hibiscus and orange peel - are wonderfully bright and fresh while cranberry and pomegranate, wild thyme and underbrush lend fine detail. The broad fruit entry possesses great lift - juicy and vibrant, then immediately deep and layered. The mid-palate is succulent and round with cherry liqueur and rhubarb flavors which extend on fresh acidity through the long, black peppercorn-infused finish. Drink between 2018 and 2026.

Caymus Special Selection Cabernet Sauvignon 2015Winemaker Notes: A blackberry hue, with scents of rich leather, cooked caramel, berries and forest floor. Youthfully forward on the palate, supple and appealing with rich concentration. Tannins are abundant, yet fine, and persist throughout a layering of textural sensation. The richness of this wine correlates with the fine dust of the Napa Valley soils. Finish expresses oak (French barrel) and Caymus fruit-forward impressions. This wine is tannic, rich and squared off by our signature suppleness.
William Harrison Sangiacomo Chardonnay 2017Winemaker Notes: Our 2017 Chardonnay is comprised of two different vineyard blocks grown just west of the town of Sonoma. Three generations of the Sangiacomo family have farmed wine grapes since 1927, and helped establish Carneros as a world class Chardonnay and Pinot Noir region. Half of this vintage completed malolactic fermentation, which creates a creamy texture to the wine, held together by its naturally bright acidity. Tropical aromatics consist of lemon curd, orange zest, a hint of pineapple and crème brulee. With time in the glass, a faint vanilla bean character becomes more prominent. On the palate, Meyer lemon reigns, backed by stone fruits, toasted cashews and a trace of ghee. The firm acidity cleans up its medium-length finish.
Napa Cellars Napa Valley Chardonnay 2016Winery Notes: The Napa Cellars 2016 Chardonnay displays the classic Napa Valley Chardonnay characteristics indicative of this region. Aromas of peach, bright apple, and graham cracker excite the senses. Flavors of pear, crème fraiche, and pie crust are complimented by a creamy texture with balanced acidity and a nice, lingering finish of crème brulee and white peach. This is the perfect wine to pair with a Camembert French cheese plate drizzled with local honey and almond halves, or with panna cotta topped with fresh berries for dessert.
