AA Badenhorst Family Wines Secateurs Chenin Blanc 2016Winemaker Notes : The aromas are flinty with honey, orange blossom and white stone fruit notes. The 2014 vintage was characterized by a long ripening period in mild conditions and has the e ect of good ripe flavors and slightly lower acids than in previous years. Blend: Chenin Blanc with a sprinkling of Palomino and another secret grape.
Barnett Vineyards Rattlesnake Hill Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2014Winemaker Notes : The 2014 Rattlesnake is deeply purple and opaque in color. The nose is filled with blackberry, concentrated cassis and crushed violets, matched with cocoa nibs, black licorice, and anise. The viscosity and plushness of the wine are immense. The sizeable chalky tannins begin to emerge showing the wine's youthfulness. Blackberry puree, menthol, and dark cooking chocolate are predominant on the palate. The tannins are big but so is the wine overall, which demands time in the cellar. This immense yet beautifully balanced wine will age wonderfully over the next 18-20 years (2034-2036).
Patricia Green Estate Old Vine Pinot Noir 2015 375mlWinery Note: The difference between the older and younger blocks here is always pretty amazing to people. Our water is spring fed and very minerally in nature. That is what these older vines have tapped into and that is what they pull up and put into the fruit. Savory and bringing in both black and red fruit spectrums so this has a wide range in the mid-palate. Ultimately this wine is defined by the mineral laden “ribbon” that intertwines the fruit and carries the flavors onto the sinewy tannin structure underlying the wine. This is refined and elegant while still being surprisingly broad shouldered.
Maxville Napa Valley Cabernet 2014Winemaker Notes: Garnet red in color our Cabernet Franc has warm nutmeg and ripe blueberry aromas elegantly supported by hints of vanilla and an opulent texture with a persistent silky finish that keeps you wanting more.
Chalk Hill Estate Bottled Chardonnay 2015Winemaker Notes : 2015 was another prime vintage with moderate temperatures throughout the spring and summer. Our 2015 Estate Chardonnay expresses aromas of lemon, orange blossom and a hint of vanilla bean from the oak influence. Balanced, complex and full flavors of lemon oil, orange zest, and crème brûlée follow on the palate. Our Chardonnay is known for its long, rich and elegant finish, and this vintage is no exception.
Sinor-LaVallee San Luis Obispo Pinot Noir 2014Winemaker Notes: This is our flagship Pinot Noir blend of eight clones that come together to create a complex reflection of our Bassi Vineyard terroir. Bassi Vineyard is located just 1.2 miles from the Pacific Ocean near Avila Beach, outside of any official AVA boundaries. While we are near to other Pinot Noir regions such as Edna Valley and Santa Maria Valley, we are blessed with a wholly distinct Pinot Noir expression that revolves around elegant red fruits, peppery complexity and a clean, lifted finish.
Chimney Rock Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2015Winemaker Notes: Aromas of stone fruit, pear and lemon curd highlight the nose on this wine. Pahlmeyer Jayson Cabernet Sauvignon 2015Winery Note: Jayson Cabernet Sauvignon reveals its classic expression with deep, elegant black and red fruit aromas accented by notes of dried herbs. The mid-palate is focused, and a firm structure supports the concentrated fruit. Notes of oak, cacao and pencil shavings add intriguing complexity to this intense, powerful wine.
Two Hands Angel's Share Shiraz 2016Winery Demonstrating a level of restraint for a McLaren Vale red, this Shiraz provides sweet blue fruit notes of fresh blueberry, juniper and mulberry bracketed by a cleansing pop of acidity and savoury tannin. The sweet fruit entry gently yields to savoury notes of dried bay leaf, briar, dried herbs and dried rose petals. A wine of sneaky length that catches you off-guard, it slowly builds across the palate. The late palate is puncuated by notes of ash and wild game.
Sanford Santa Rita Hills Pinot Noir 2015Winemaker Notes: Bright ruby red color, bursting with aromas of earthy raspberry and orange peel, along with savory notes of anise and white pepper. The palate delivers dense dusty, berry flavors with lively acid and tannin structure, which carries on with a long and lovely finish.
Meyer Napa Cabernet Sauvignon 2015Notes from the Winemaker: Meyer Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted from fruit grown at our hillside estate vineyard aged 18 months in French Oak barrels. A classic Napa Valley Cabernet, it unfurls in rich layers of dark fruits, rich spice and velvety tannins that linger on the long mocha-dusted finish "The nose has aromas of sweet chocolate, black cherry and elements of sweet pipe tobacco, cigar and cedar. With pretty vanilla oak and some licorice notes, the palate has an exotic, expanding finish."
Bodegas Alto Moncayo Veraton 2015Winemaker Notes: Made from vines between 30 and 50 years old, and aged in barrels for 16 months. It is a wine with an attractive collection of balsamic notes, of chocolate and black fruits, very warm on the palate and an extremely pleasant finish.
Ancien Jouissance Pinot Noir 2014Winery Note: Lightly spiced and fruity aromas of strawberry and bright cherry mix with hazelnut and fresh herbs as an introduction to this hedonistic blend of fresh fruit and earthy spice. The wine opens to a broad and soft mid-palate of black cherry, cassis, and fresh wild strawberry. The palate is elevated and brightened with a refreshing acidity that welcomes this wine to the table. The finish brings out dried flowers, fresh berries, sweet cranberry orange, allspice and cinnamon. Over the next few years, development will keep revealing sensual subtleties hidden in layers beneath the robust fruit. But it begs to be drunk soon!
Domaine Sorin Terra Amata Rosé 2017Producer Notes: For centuries, dry rosé wine has been a staple in the south of France, where it is embraced as the best lunchtime, seaside, and all-occasion wine. Particularly in the coastal Provence region, the heart of the world’s dry rosé production, a passion for dry pink permeates the culture. Provençal citizens know from centuries of winegrowing history that vin rosé pairs with all the foods they like, any time of year. In fact, French rosé outsells white wine in France. Blend: 40% Grenache, 15% Cinsault, 10% Syrah, 15% Mourvedre, 10% Carignan, 5% Rolle, and 5% Orgi.

David Arthur Elevation 1147 2015Notes from winemaker Nile Zacherle: Every year we have the opportunity to pull out all the stops and make the ultimate expression of Cabernet Sauvignon from David’s vineyard. Sitting at over one thousand feet above sea level, these carefully selected vines give us our much celebrated and highly sought-after flagship wine: Elevation 1147. Expressive and complex, much like David himself, this wine exudes everything we love about the ineffable terroir of Pritchard Hill. Always 100% single varietal Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine simultaneously exudes power and elegance, structure and finesse, extraction and refinement. Nature and nurture have once again come together to showcase one of Napa Valley’s finest expressions of this noble grape. n intensely deep, ruby red color offers complex aromas of earthy sagebrush with garrigue-like floral notes to dark cocoa nibs and baked cassis-cherry compote. There are subtle notes of black tea, roasted pecans and brown muscovado sugar. The palate is broad and expansive with chewy mineral-like tannins lingering on the finish. There are flavors of baked dark cherry, cassis and blackberry as well as chocolate toffee and black tea bergamot notes on the finish. Best from 2018 to 2039. 648 cases produced.
Linne Calodo Problem Child 2016Winery Note: Problem Child: know one, have one, or are one. This is an opulent Zinfandel blend from the Willow Creek District of Paso Robles. We take dry-farmed, head-trained Zinfandel, manicure the vines and clusters for perfection and pick when the time is just right. Blended with modest amount of Syrah to widen the palate, the wine moves up the sophistication ladder; the crescendo comes from the splash of Mourvedre which rounds out the edges. The Problem Child, in all honesty, is inappropriately named and should instead be called The Gift Child. Drink now through 2025.
WillaKenzie Estate Pinot Gris 2016Winemaker Notes : Extensive lees contact in stainless steel tanks allows this Pinot Gris to maximize fruit expression with notes of pear and papaya. The mouthfeel is rich, yet has a strong backbone of acidity which carries the wine to a long finish. Serve slightly chilled with grilled salmon or poultry, or enjoy sipping.
