Wine AdvocateAnother gorgeous effort that knocks it out of the park is the 2013 Syrah Larner Vineyard. Made from 100% Syrah that saw a little less than half stems and 16 months in barrel (45% new), its deep ruby/purple color is followed by sensational notes of loamy earth, blackberries, bouquet garni and olive tapenade. Pure, polished, seamless and full-bodied, with beautiful tannin quality, it's already hard to resist, yet its impeccable balance will keep it evolving gracefully through at least 2023.
