The 2023 Luli Pinot Noir exemplifies the bright and beautiful character of Santa Lucia Highlands. Rich aromas of black cherry, spiced plum, sage, and vibrant cranberry combine to give power and energy to the wine. The sloping hillsides of these hills are rugged and low yielding, which stresses vines and concentrates the flavor profile. Luli Pinot Noir is fermented with native yeast for complexity and purity, then aged in neutral barrels to add texture and emphasize the purity of fruit. This wine has supple and layered tannins that drink well now and will age for several years.

All destemmed and sourced from multiple vineyards, the 2023 Pinot Noir Santa Lucia Highlands reveals a solid perfume of red and black fruits, leafy herbs, loamy earth, and sweet spices. Medium-bodied and nicely balanced, it offers ripe tannins, an expansive, elegant mouthfeel, and outstanding length. While it may lack the singular character of the single vineyard releases, it leans more on pure fruit and will drink beautifully over the coming 7-8 years.
