Paul Lato Duende Gold Coast Pinot Noir 2015
30-year-old vines contribute classic Santa Maria Valley character to this sommelier favorite, with notes of trampled strawberry and soil supported by a soft tannic backbone filled with hard spice and pine. The aromas are perfumed, delicate, and mysterious. The lightest of my Pinot Noir’s is always a standout, and this vintage is no exception.

Wine AdvocatePale ruby-purple in color, the 2015 Pinot Noir Goldcoast Vineyard Duende has a gorgeous anise, red rose and sage-laced perfume over a core of ripe red cherries, wild strawberries and underbrush. Medium-bodied, soft, silky and seductive, this has beautiful, soft-spoken expression and wonderful length.
