With a powerful and attractive nose, it first delivers aromas of fruit (pear, mango ...) and then releases light flavours of honeysuckle and white jasmine, lingering on vanilla and brioche notes. Behind a frank and dynamic attack, the wine encompasses a nice harmony and a pleasant freshness, whilst preserving some structure. On the palate, flavours of cooked fruit (quince jelly, apricot jam) happily mingle with fragrances of beeswax and acacia honey. The long-lasting aromas, composed of both fruity (candied orange peel, tangerine...) and spicy notes (cardamom, anis) is outstanding.

Plush “Rutherford Dust” tannins support the ever-expansive palate, while seamlessly integrating with the full-bodied texture, crafting a wine that shows grace, ease and approachability now, but with underlying power and structure that will keep this wine alive for decades to come. Well integrated notes of vanilla and toasted oak spices - from aging in new French oak barrels - heighten the aromas and dance on the lengthy finish. To enjoy this wine at its full potential, we recommend at least five years of bottle aging; however, if you can’t wait, decant before serving.
Deutz Brut Classic ChampagneWinemaker Notes : The most "classical" of the Deutz cuvees is far from mundane. The three different champagne grapes are blended in equal and unchanging proportions, ensuring it shows perfect harmony. Its golden color scintillates in the glass, with a fine stream of bubbles rising gracefully to the surface. The first impressions on the nose are mellow and reminiscent of acacia flowers, confectionery, Reinette apples, and brioche. The wine then gains in volume and its silky texture reveals a successful balance between the freshness of Chardonnay, the fruitiness and structure of Pinot Noir and a touch of vinosity from the Pinot Meunier
Seghesio Old Vine Zinfandel 2015Winery Notes: Our Old Vine Zinfandel blends vineyards planted on the Dry Creek bench and the cooler southwest Alexander Valley. True old vine Zinfandel is distinguished by head-trained vines with thick, gnarled trunks and is planted with ancient clones dating back to the turn of the century.

Larkmead Dr. Olmo Cabernet Sauvignon 2016Winery Notes: There is a deep, rich sweetness to the aromas of the 2016 Dr. Olmo that are grounded by savory forest floor and earthen notes. Wild blackberries, black cherries, redwood and graphite lift out of the glass and are followed by a potpourri of blueberry compote, macerated strawberries, purple flowers, bittersweet chocolate and espresso bean. As the wine opens up, it becomes more savory, with notes of black tea, black pepper, and pomegranate. The gravely, dusty cranberry finish is the signature of this bottling. For a heavyweight Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine is incredibly nimble and ethereal.
Bouchard Aine & Fils Beaujolais Nouveau 2019Beaujolais Nouveau Day is marked in France on the third Thursday in November with fireworks, music and festivals. Under French law, the wine is released at 12:01 a.m., just weeks after the wine's grapes have been harvested. Parties are held throughout the country and further afield to celebrate the first wine of the season. The Gamay grapes that go into Beaujolais Nouveau are handpicked in the Beaujolais province of France. The wine actually originated about a century ago as a cheap and cheerful drink produced by locals to celebrate the end of the harvest season. Beaujolais Nouveau owes its easy drinkability to a winemaking process called carbonic maceration, also known as whole-berry fermentation. This technique preserves the fresh, fruity quality of the grapes without extracting bitter tannins from the grape skins. Crafted in our signature house style, this Beaujolais Nouveau is smooth, juicy and perfectly refreshing. It’s great on its own or with a light meal. Available November 20, 2019

Robert Biale Party Line Zinfandel 2018Winery Notes: Perfecting the old California classics, Robert Biale Vineyards has become a revered standard of heritage Vineyard Zinfandel and Petite Sirah in Napa Valley. Napa natives, school chums, and winery Founders, Bob Biale and Dave Pramuk, cherish the tradition of historic old vines (some dating to the 1880s!) and prize the small quantity of concentrated and intense fruit that they produce. Diligent farming, expressive terroir, and superb elegance are the winery’s hallmarks. Among the winery’s portfolio of 20 wines that are crafted by winemaker Tres Goetting, Black Chicken Zinfandel is the flagship – and has become a benchmark for the varietal. It all started in the 1940’s when 14 year-old Aldo Biale helped his mother to make ends meet by selling to insider Napans – along with eggs and produce -some of the family’s homemade Zinfandel. Over the old “party line” phone system, the code words “a Black Chicken” signified a jug of bootleg wine…and kept nosy neighbors and the authorities from finding out about Aldo’s underground Zinfandel operation!
Cantina del Pino Barbaresco Gallina 2014Winery Notes: Dark fruit, spice, herbs and distinct mineral notes of crushed rock and salt-air lay over a palate of rich, fruit-forward joy.
