Benito Ferrara Greco di Tufo Vigana Cicogna 2018Winery Notes: 100% Greco from Vigna Cicogna, the estate’s flagship cru of 1.5 hectares. The vines here are between 15 and 60 years old, planted to calcareous clay soils with outcroppings of yellow sulfur. The fruit is softly pressed, followed by fermentation and maturation in stainless steel for 7 months before bottling. Pale yellow in color with an intense, sharp and dry taste. Pleasantly harmonious, with the unmistakable scent of bitter almond.

Paul Hobbs Ross Station Chardonnay 2016Situated in the coastal influenced Green Valley sub-appellation of the Russian River Valley, the vineyard is blanketed by morning and evening fog providing moderating diurnal temperatures that bring an average daytime low of 44°F and high of 75°F. With these favorable conditions, a radiant golden straw chardonnay emerges with expressive aromas of white peach, brioche, and crème brûlée. The mineral core is lifted on the palate, embraced by flavors of yellow apple and tropical tones, leading to a long, cool saline finish. Food Pairing: Try with grilled peaches with Burrata di Bufala and basil, Croque Madame alongside tossed young lettuces with a classic French vinaigrette, or fried rice with sugar snap peas, bacon and egg.

Easton Amador County Zinfandel 2015Winery Notes: This is the nineteenth release of our popularly-priced Amador County Zinfandel. It is made from grapes that grow on our beautiful, rolling mountain sites that have the classic, vermilion-colored, Amador decomposed granite soil. The 2015 has full black cherry and blackberry fruit aromas with a beautiful balance and a big, sumptuous, and juicy mouth feel. It also presents complex spicy aromas, with a nice creamy texture derived from the 10 months time it receives in, only, French oak barrels. This wine has become our popular, but serious cru Beaujolais-styled/Rioja crianza-styled Zinfandel that has found its way on to many great restaurant lists across North America where it is often listed “by the glass ”. It is consistently rated one of the top Zinfandels in its class and one of the best value Zinfandels available. Although drinkable now, it gains complexity with bottle age. This wine’s release has become highly anticipated by many of our customers each year. We think this 2015 bottling follows in the tradition of our previous versions. A.P. Vin Garys' Vineyard Pinot Noir 2017Winemaker Notes: A.P. Vin is a small-production winery based in San Francisco. Winemaker/owner Andrew P. Vingiello started the company in 2003 and made it his full-time gig in 2005. Lucienne Doctor's Vineyard Pinot Noir 2017Winemaker Notes : Located in the middle stretch of the Santa Lucia Highlands, the 243-acre Doctor’s Vineyard experiences warmer temperatures and higher winds than Hahn’s other estate vineyards in the region. Certified sustainable, the vineyard ranges from 320 feet to 720 feet above sea level, with gently sloped hillsides and wide row spacing that offers greater sun exposure. The dry and slightly warmer climate here results in a riper more robust Pinot Noir, with layers of cherry and citrus fruits along with brown spice and tones of mushroom and earth. Thewine’s balanced acidity and smooth tannins lead to a round, approachably soft mouthfeel and a lingering finish.
Molnar Family Poseidon Vineyard Chardonnay 2017Winemaker Notes: Initially shy, the aromas of this Chardonnay blossom into pear and nectarine, supported by hints of fall spices and a touch of linoleum resin. Those same stone fruits are echoed on the palate, with a squeeze of lime and a touch of toasted brioche. A fine-grained acidity provides a counterpoint to the summer-ripe fruit, leaving a medium-long finish.
Molnar Family Poseidon Carneros Pinot Noir 2017Winemaker Notes : Medium light in color, this Pinot Noir teases the nose with dried raspberries, then builds allspice, clove, and nutmeg, evolving into fresh baked strawberry-rhubarb pie. Bing cherry, root beer, and vanilla provide grace notes. On the palate this is quintessentially Carneros and classically Poseidon Vineyard: medium weight, not overly aggressive, with well-balanced fruit and spice that mimic the aromas, with an added touch of soy and Sassafras. The acidity leaves the finish clean and fresh while the spice notes continue their echo.

Raeburn Russian River Chardonnay 2017Winemaker Notes : 2017 was a bit of wild ride. Heavy winter rains brought relief from a multi-year drought and caused flooding in many low-lying areas. An early bud break and late summer heat hastened the grapes’ ripening. Labor Day weekend was quite warm which helped achieve ideal brix levels. All our grapes were harvested and inside the winery well before the start of the tragic North Bay wildfires. Chardonnay shows an array of complex fruit tones ranging from pear and Gravenstein apple to nectarine. The fruit is beautifully complemented with toasted oak, vanilla and hints of Crème Brûlée with a balanced and elegant finish.
