Araujo Estate Eisele Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2017Winery Notes: The nose displays an intense bouquet of guava and tropical fruits with a hint of gooseberry, then opens on Meyer lemons zest and mineral notes. The intensity and freshness are extraordinary. The palate is suave and focused, savory, almost salty. Tension and minerality carry through the lingering finish. Our best vintage of Sauvignon Blanc to date.
Rudius Farella Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2014Winery Notes: Bright red raspberry and bing cherry explode on your palate, while a refreshing acidity keeps this Cabernet firmly grounded in south Napa. And though this alluringly plush entry may fool you, the silky structure, defined by warm vanilla and licorice spice, and hints of fragrant evergreen tells you that this is a Cabernet for the ages. Many New World wines are made to impress upon release but this is not that wine. While it may hide the best of itself from you now, the Farella Cab will stand out among its peers 12-15 years, as it truly comes into its own.
Ovid Experiment M 2.6 2016Winemaker Notes: Knowing that our Merlot is noble in its own right, this Experiment is an exploration of the age-ability of mountain Merlot. This wine exhibits voluptuous notes of plum, black cherry and cedar which are complemented by notes of violet candies, mulberry, black olive and orange rind. As a counterpoint to the other expressions from our estate, this broad and expansive offering achieves an equally authentic sense of place.
Rudius Panek Vinyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2014Winery Notes: The 2014 vintage is classic Panek Cabernet : distinct pencil lead and graphite edginess, with the ever-present Panek Vineyard ‘blueberry’ rounding out a surprisingly fragrant bouquet. The precise and seamless palate is even more pronounced in this vintage due to the extended aging, and the wine drinks as though it has already enjoyed the additional bottle age it usually asks to show its best. Rich flavors of slow roasted meat, warm holiday spices and ripe black currants combine to bring the wine to a satisfyingly smooth finish that lingers long after the last sip. This is perhaps the best Panek Vineyard Cabernet Rudius has produced, and that is saying something. We hope that you will have the patience to hold some of this wine until 2035 and beyond, as we certainly won’t!
Altamura Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2015Winemaker Notes : Our hillside and valley floor estate vineyards in Wooden Valley are at elevations of 700 to 1000 feet. Soil types on the ranch which are similar to the Rutherford Bench and the mountainous regions of Howell Mountain, Pritchard Hill and Mount Veeder called for several different clones of Cabernet Sauvignon on a number of different rootstocks upon planting in 1986. The vines are dry-farmed and vertically trellised. Fermentation of Altamura Cabernet Sauvignon occurs in both open and closed top fermenters. Certain lots are allowed to macerate on their skins for up to three weeks following fermentation. This technique produces a wine with softer, more integrated tannins, which carry fruit and oak nuances through to the palate. The wine is racked into 70% new French oak barrels for a period of 34 months. The wine is lightly filtered and then bottled.
Kata Beckstoffer Bourn Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2016Winemaker Notes: The 2016 Kata reveals yet another glimpse of the full potential of the Bourn Vineyard. The texture is velvety with tons of energy and vibrancy revealing delicate, fully mature tannins. The bouquet is a complex expression of blue and blackberries wrapped into lavender and Provencal herb notes with a backbone of cassis, chocolate and licorice.
Trefethen Estate Chardonnay 2017Winery Notes: A beautiful gold color illuminates the glass and aromas of lemon, honeysuckle and pear greet the nose. The fresh palate features more citrus flavors, as well as green apple, and a clean finish. The oak influence in this wine is subtle but important, adding a note of vanilla on the nose and a pleasant roundness on the palate. Another classic vintage of Trefethen Chardonnay!
Araujo Estate Altagracia Cabernet Sauvignon 2016Winery Notes: The 2016 vintage is emblematic of the eastern side of Eisele Vineyard. The nose opens on roses petals, santal and dark cherry, followed with blackberry typical of the volcanic hillsides and a hint of liquorice and tobacco. The mouthfeel is generous and ample, the tannins are sweet and racy, the finish voluptuous, elegant and refined, accentuated by dark and earthy aromas. There is something noble revealed by this wine; we find it an enduring example of harmonious intentions – between vines and soil, between farmer and season, a rare alliance delivering the spirit of Eisele Vineyard to the 2016 vintage.
Bevan Ontogeny 2017Winemaker Notes: In 2017, we used more Tench and Sugarloaf than ever before to make sure that Ontogeny had the richness and depth that it has become known for. Sugarloaf Mountain Cabernet Franc was perfect for this, lending a beautiful blueberry and tobacco base. From there, we used Tench Cabernet Sauvignon for power, a kiss of Wildfoote for exuberance and a barrel of Sentinel Ridge for a little mountain tannin.
Lucien Albrecht Crémant d’Alsace BrutWinery Notes: Pinot Auxerrois, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay are some of the grape varieties used for our Crémant Brut, harvested by hand at the start of the grape harvest primarily in the municipality of Orschwihr, a large wine-growing community in southern Alsace whose microclimate favours early ripening. With a beautiful brilliant golden colour, it exhibits a predominantly floral nose, has fine and persistent bubbles and is both elegant and balanced on the palate. As an aperitif, at cocktail parties or receptions, it is the classic drink for all festive occasions.
Flowers Sonoma Coast Rosé 2018Winery Notes: Elegant, balanced and expressive, our Sonoma Coast wines represent both our estate and vineyards of our grower partners. Elegant and distinct with aromas of strawberry and grapefruit, and subtle hints of mint. Burst of fresh orange and lemon zest colorfully drive the palate and are delicately balanced with flavors of nectarine. Drappier Carte d'Or BrutWinemaker Notes : The Carte d'Or cuvée is the very expression of the Drappier style. With its very high proportion of Pinot Noir, one is almost tasting a Blanc de Noirs. Champagne with a fine aromatic richness, it opens with aromas of stoned fruits such as white vineyard peach. A spicy hint announces a powerful complex palate. A vinous Champagne of lovely complexity with a characteristic note of quince jelly. Ideal as an apertif. At the table, it goes with white meats, rolled fish fillets, Chaource cheese. Blend: 75% Pinot Noir, 15% Chardonnay, 10% Meunier
Jean Vesselle Brut Réserve NVWinemaker Notes : A magnificent, elegantly structured Champagne that exudes flavors of peach, crisp apple and toast. A finely balanced, fresh Champagne that spends 30 months on lees. This 80% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay blend (from 30+ year old vines) drinks like a vintage wine. Honeysuckle blossoms tickle the aromatic nose. Toasty, lovely notes of warm, crusty oatmeal biscuits drizzled with molasses and sweet, red fruits characterize the bountiful, layered mouth.

Domaine Grand Veneur Côtes du Rhône Les Champauvins 2016Winemaker Notes : Intense, brilliant garnet-red in color, this wine reveals lovely fruit, loads of body and a heady bouquet of ground peppers, raspberries cherry liqueur, currants, and spice box. Full-bodied and dense, it tastes more like a “baby Châteauneuf” than a Côtes du Rhône. A complete wine, rich and elegant.
Penfolds Max's Cabernet Sauvignon 2016Winemaker Notes : Taut in texture, fine tannin with a savoury profile. Cranberry represents the red fruit spectrum, with lingering flavours of yellow plum, bay leaf and sage. Root vegetable earthiness is evident on the finish. Weingut Goldatzel Johannisberger Goldatzel Bestes Fass Riesling Spatlese Trocken 2017They offer their favorite dry (and off-dry) wines as "best cask," and the actual wine can change from year to year. The estate "Goldatzel" also farms a vineyard named Goldatzel, a high-elevation site near the woods, which also receives less sunlight and is therefore among the last to be picked. I adore this vineyard, and have for years - to me it's the "GG" that ought to be and isn't. The wines are green and shady and crystalline, for lovers of finesse and detail; absorbing, aristocratic Rieslings.
Weingut Goldatzel Johannisberger Goldatzel Riesling Kabinett Feinherb 2017Winery Notes: The wine in '17 is perfect. Digital, quince-like, wintergreen and ginger. Does Riesling give greater sheer joy?
Spreitzer Oestricher Lenchen Riesling Kabinett 2017Winery Notes: The Lenchen at one point was a stream that was formed by mountain run-off, because of this there is more gravel present than in surrounding vineyards hence it has better drainage. Beneath the soil a river still flows which naturally irrigates the vineyard. Nose: Classic aromas of peaches and ripe apple, accentuated by a pleasant minerality and fruit. Mouth: Our Lenchen is smooth and rounded, captivating with a subtle yet distinct sweetness. A mouthfeel of invigorating fruit coupled with a well-defined minerality turn this wine into a succulently sweet experience. Serving suggestion: As an aperitif or paired with Asian foods. Lenchen Kabinett is also an excellent accompaniment to a wide selection of cheeses.
Three Sticks Gap's Crown Vineyard Pinot Noir 2017Winery Note: Directly in the path of the Petaluma Wind Gap, the Gap’s Crown Vineyard is one of our coldest vineyards, resulting in fruit packed with flavor and tannins. The 2017 Estate Gap’s Crown Vineyard Pinot Noir wows with its concentration and structure. Blueberry blossoms, black cherry, and gingerbread meld together to give this wine heavenly aromatics. On the palate, you’ll find lush, savory notes and blue fruits. This wine is built to last and is always an excellent candidate for cellaring.
Bodegas Mas Alta Black Slate La Vilella Alta Priorat 2016Winemaker Notes : The inspiration for the Black Slate Project is a Burgundian concept of village nomenclature, applied to the Priorat. One region, nine historic villages, each with its distinct character, but all unmistakably Priorat. Sun-scorched vines cling to breathtakingly steep hillsides with their roots deeply plunged in the llicorella soils of this pristine, ancient region. Bodegas Mas Alta is a joint project with renowned Rhone negociant and winemaker, Michel Tardieu, and noted French enologist, Philippe Cambie. It is located in the middle of D.O.C. Priorat, based in the village of Vilella Alta. The estate vineyards are high density plantings at approximately 1050 feet above sea level, in front of Serra del Montsant, a mountain range that reaches 3300 feet. Very steep and abrupt, the altitude, inclination, and slopes make a decisive influence on grape's maturity. The vineyards of La Viella Alta are situated on steep slopes of slates alongside of what once was the river of Escaladei. The heat of south-facing vineyards combing with the cooler north-facing parcels to create a well-balanced wine with ripe fruit and softness. A blend of old and young-vine fruit and with a small additions of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, La Vilella Alta is a dense and intensively flavored wine that is fermented in tank and aged in French oak barrels of which 30% are new.
Three Sticks PFV Estate Pinot Noir 2017Winery Notes: Our Price Family Estates Pinot Noir is a blend of our Estate Vineyards throughout the Sonoma Coast. The core of the wine comes from our Walala Vineyard, a 17-acre site set in the middle of 19,000 acres of redwoods in the furthest northwestern town of Sonoma County. The other key vineyards that make up this wine are Gap's Crown, Durell, and Alana. Each site brings unique characteristics and depth to this bold Pinot Noir. In this bottling, we love the fresh lavender and pine with a core of cinnamon and cherry that demands you keep going back for more. We adore this special Pinot Noir that serves as a tribute to the magnificent vineyards within Price Family Estates.
Albert Bichot Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru "Les Perrières" 2017Winery Notes: The reputation of the village and its name are partly linked to the existence of the most famous white Grand Cru in Burgundy: the celebrated Montrachet. The "Les Perrières” Premier Cru is a single vineyard located at equidistance between Montrachet to the south and the Meursault Charmes appellation to the north. The particularly stony (“pierreuse”) soil found here is what gave the vineyard its name. The nose is very typical of Les Perrières: a combination of freshness (mentholated notes) and lovely minerality. This wine features fruity flavours on the palate with good volume and pleasing roundness. The overall harmony of the wine comes together in a long, complex finish.
Albert Bichot Meursault 1er Cru "Les Charmes" Domaine du Pavillon 2017Winery Notes: Located in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, Meursault is one of Burgundy’s flagship villages and among the most reputed. In fact, Meursault is often referred to as the capital of Burgundy’s great whites. The "Les Charmes" Premier Cru is a first-class plot and easily rivals Burgundy’s great white Grand Crus. There are two types of "terroir" in Meursault. One is clay-based and produces opulent, generous wines. The other consists of finer soil, and is closer to the limestone bedrock. The latter gives a more mineral, airy and chiselled wine. Our plot, mostly located in the “Charmes Dessus” portion, is fortunate to overlie the two terroirs, and is therefore capable of producing particularly complex nectar. Generous and flattering, this wine features notes of candied lemon, almonds, white flowers and freshly baked bread. The palate is smooth and velvety without any heaviness, with hints of warm brioche and spice. Long and tasty, the finish mirrors the bouquet’s aromas.
Albert Bichot Chablis Domaine Long-Depaquit 2017Winery Notes: In northern Burgundy, not far from Auxerre, the Chablis appellation covers an approximately fifteen-kilometre radius around the village of the same name. It was the monks of the Cistercian abbey of Pontigny who began growing vines in the region. Chablis is located at the south-eastern extremity of the Paris Basin. The grapes used to craft this Chablis at the Domaine Long-Depaquit estate come from a mosaic of terroirs, which lends remarkable complexity to the wine. Very pure nose that is typical of Chablis (white flowers, flint) opening up to a palate that boasts an elegant combination of almond notes and lovely vivacity.
The Crane Assembly Disciples 2016Winery Notes: Balanced and inviting, the wine opens with a concentrated nose of ripe strawberries, red plum, allspice, vanilla and a touch of black licorice and cigar box. A smooth and enveloping entry of dark red fruits and creme anglaise leasds to a fresh and bright mid-palate. The soft and integrated tannins finish at length with a pleasing texture of bakers chocolate.
First Drop Mother's Milk Shiraz 2016Tasting Notes: Not a sledgehammer style, this Barossa Shiraz is made for drinking! Soft, slurpy and textured it is balanced with good acidity, which refreshes the palate and makes you go back for a second / third glass. It is matured for 15 months in old French oak hogsheads sur lie to allow the fruit to fully express itself.
The Crane Assembly G.B. Crane Vineyard el Coco 2016Winemaker Notes: Decandent and rich, the nose opens with ripe boysenberry, blackberry and dark chocolate with a touch of aromatic nuance - forest floor and a satiating minerality. The entry is expansive and weighty with dark berries, ripe stone fruits, a hint of bing cherry with a long chain of white pepper. The complex finish is lengthy with soft, supple tannins stemming from the high percentage of new French oak.
Château de Beaucastel Coudoulet de Beaucastel 2016Winery Notes: Beautiful dark red dress. The nose is powerful with intense notes of juniper, black olives and pepper. In the mouth, it is an explosion of red fruit, with floral and spicy notes, but with a very nice balance combining great freshness, a beautiful complexity, a soft texture and a nice acidity. A wine that has a lot of character.
Beringer Luminus Chardonnay 2016Winery Notes: Meaning “light” in Latin, Luminus naturally represents the radiance of this Chardonnay. Like the brightness and purity that the name conjures, Chardonnay from the Oak Knoll district is known for its uncommon focus. The Chardonnay fruit from the Big Ranch Vineyard is known for its elegance and balance and Chief Winemaker Mark Beringer has always gravitated towards this acid-driven, food-friendly style of Chardonnay. The 2016 Luminus offers generous aromas showcasing bright lemon citrus characteristics and a core of minerality. The wine is rich with robust and balanced acidity making the lemon zest and toasted hazelnut flavors pop on the palate. The wine is silky with an elegant texture and long finish.
Carpineto Chianti Classico Riserva 2015Winemaker Notes : Intense ruby red with garnet reflections. The bouquet is elegant, full, harmonious and persistent with suggestions of vanilla and raspberry. The palate is long and velvety, full-bodied, generous and warm. Perfect with roasts and game.
Merry Edwards Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2017Winery Notes: The bright, shimmering, green-gold hue of this Sauvignon Blanc is a visual overture to a striking personality. Its enticing aroma is highly perfumed with honeysuckle, citrus blossom, white rose and gardenia. Honeydew melon, nectarine, ripe Rainier cherry, tangerine, Kaffir lime and summer hay add complexity, along with hints of sweet oak and toasted hazelnut. On the palate, vibrant acidity is finely balanced with a rich, creamy mouthfeel creating a unique textural experience — reminiscent of a refreshing blood orange sorbet. The finish is broad and lingers with sweet pink grapefruit and Meyer lemon zest.
Lucienne Doctor's Vineyard Pinot Noir 2017Winemaker Notes : Located in the middle stretch of the Santa Lucia Highlands, the 243-acre Doctor’s Vineyard experiences warmer temperatures and higher winds than Hahn’s other estate vineyards in the region. Certified sustainable, the vineyard ranges from 320 feet to 720 feet above sea level, with gently sloped hillsides and wide row spacing that offers greater sun exposure. The dry and slightly warmer climate here results in a riper more robust Pinot Noir, with layers of cherry and citrus fruits along with brown spice and tones of mushroom and earth. Thewine’s balanced acidity and smooth tannins lead to a round, approachably soft mouthfeel and a lingering finish.
Rombauer Chardonnay 2018 375mlWinemaker Notes : Pale yellow with a green tinge to the hue. Aromas of yellow peach, mango with a slight citrus note intertwine seamlessly with vanilla spice. The palate is rich and round, with the mango and vanilla fight for the lime light, while the creamy texture, vanilla and slight butter combine seamlessly. The balanced acidity closes out the finish bringing the multiple components into balance.

Rosenblum Rockpile Road Zinfandel 2014Winery Notes: The power and grace of our Rockpile Road Zinfandel is a culmination of its unique climate, soil and pedigree. Bold, dark fruit, redolent with blueberries and boysenberry jam, shapes the core and establishes the masculine, mountain character of this high-elevation Zinfandel. Black pepper, cocoa and toasted oak spices weave through the multiple layers, joined by big, chewy tannins. Low yields in 2014 further enhanced concentrated flavors, delivering red fruit tones that lend elegance and promise good aging potential. From one of the great AVAs, our Rockpile Road Zinfandel packs a truckload of berries on the palate. Medium to full bodied, this a superb choice with barbecued pork ribs.
