Bookwalter Protagonist 2016Winemaker Notes : The 1991, 1988 & 1987 block Cabernets were hand sorted on the vine closely then picked by Pellenc Selectiv the first weeks of October. We mixed by pump over and punch down for three weeks. The vintage was measured for anthocyanins and tannins daily allowing us a perfect balance of extractables to build into our favorite tanks for these reserves. Fermentation completed in new French oak punchons. We aged on lees reductively developing savory tones complimentary to the powerful fruit. After 20 months, we selected each puncheon for this reserve bottling. We then blended and filtered for purity and aging stability. With the addition of choice Syrah and Cabernet Franc for aromatic lift, the blend describes Cabernet at its most gorgeous vintage expression. This rich wine will age for a decade or two, enjoyable with a host of foods throughout those seasons. Blend: 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Syrah, 2% Cabernet Franc

Adaptation Adaptation by Odette Cabernet Sauvignon 2015Winemaker Notes : In 2015, we continued to work with our favorite local growers to craft this wine, one that truly represents the broader Napa Valley appellation. We move our way down to the valley floor where we incorporate Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from the Stags Leap District, Yountville and Oak Knoll appellations. This immense diversity and range within the Napa Valley allowed us to produce a wine that is emblematic of the unique Napa Valley terroir in an approachable, up-front style. William Harrison Sangiacomo Chardonnay 2017Winemaker Notes: Our 2017 Chardonnay is comprised of two different vineyard blocks grown just west of the town of Sonoma. Three generations of the Sangiacomo family have farmed wine grapes since 1927, and helped establish Carneros as a world class Chardonnay and Pinot Noir region. Half of this vintage completed malolactic fermentation, which creates a creamy texture to the wine, held together by its naturally bright acidity. Tropical aromatics consist of lemon curd, orange zest, a hint of pineapple and crème brulee. With time in the glass, a faint vanilla bean character becomes more prominent. On the palate, Meyer lemon reigns, backed by stone fruits, toasted cashews and a trace of ghee. The firm acidity cleans up its medium-length finish.
