Winemaker Notes: Delicate watermelon hue with pale rose edges in the glass. Bright strawberry and cream and cranberry fruit with a complex rose water, candied melon and lemon basil notes. The attack is fresh and reminiscent of the crunch of pomegranates and cranberries. The mid-palate is creamy and generous with notes of ripe watermelon and pink grapefruit zest with just a hint of juniper spice that adds nobility. A line of ripe citrusy acidity drives the palate to a long vinous finish that lets all the near-saline minerality of the terroir shine through. 2013 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Magnum

Winemaker Notes: Our 2013 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is garnet in color with a ruby red rim, it has an alluring nose of blackberry bramble, baking spices and black olive. Aromas of vanilla, cassis and sage fill the glass, revealing the influence of American oak barrel aging. On the palate, notes of raspberry are complemented with lingering acidity and a finish of dusty, silky tannins. 2012 Marqués de Griñón • Caliza

The 2012 Caliza is named after the limestone (caliza is the Spanish word for limestone) dominant in the Valdepusa Estate soils in Toledo. It's a blend of 40% Syrah and 30% each Petit Verdot and Graciano. Most of these reds mature in newish French barriques for some ten months. The oak is nicely integrated and there is a core of ripe black fruit and balsamic notes. The palate is soft and juicy, with fine-grained tannins. Very pleasant. 92,000 bottles were filled in July 2015. $20
