Concentrated cherry and blood orange flavors show very good clarity and energy thanks to a core of juicy acidity. Lingers with strong tenacity on the sappy finish, which leaves a suave candied lavender note behind. $19 Our Price $14.99

2015 Vina Cobos Felino Cabernet Sauvignon

Chocolate and berry aromas with hints of spices and walnuts. Medium to full body. Very fine tannins and a clean and fresh finish.

Winemaker Notes: An exquisitely balanced cabernet sauvignon to be highlighted. Its spicy and fruity character outstands. The intense ruby red color anticipates a complex, appealing wine. On the nose, the freshness of the red fruit and the herbal notes like freshly cut grass complements the spicy notes of black pepper, clove, and cinnamon, as well cedar and tobacco. Great freshness on the palate, good acidity, sweet tannins and great intensity for a very well-integrated wine with a persistent finish. $18 Our Price $14.65

2014 Pahlmeyer Napa Merlot

The 2014 Merlot is a blend of 94.5% Merlot and the rest Petit Verdot and Malbec. It has a dense purple color, although not as saturated as the 2015 or 2013, with a beautiful fruited nose of blackberry, plum, chocolate, mocha and espresso. The aromatics are killer and then the wine hits the palate with a medium to full-bodied lushness and an expression that says, "Kiss me!" This is a delicious, front-end loaded, full-bodied Merlot to drink over the next 15 or so years. $85 Our Price $74.99

2013 Shafer Vineyards • Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select

The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select will probably hit the magic three-digit score, but it is a more backward style of wine, although probably even more concentrated than the 2012, and that’s saying something. Fabulous potential of 30-50 years is evident in this profound bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon that is inky blue/black to the rim and offers up notes of charcoal embers, scorched earth, blackberries, cassis, blueberries, a hint of coffee, and background barrique smells. Massively concentrated but incredibly elegant and poised, this is a wine of great energy and vibrancy. It is fabulously deep, built like a skyscraper, and set for an incredibly long life. Try not to consume a bottle for at least another 4-5 years and then watch the magic unfold. Market $269-499 (3 bottles available at $285/bottle. Please email stan@grapetray.com) Arrives 9/1/17

2012 Schrader Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon RBS To Kalon Vineyard

The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard RBS, which is also from Clone 337 but from different blocks on the Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard, saw oak with 90% new Darnajou and 10% new Taransaud. This wine seems slightly more expansive, shares the black ruby/purple color with all of it siblings, and has a boatload of crème de cassis, incense, licorice, graphite and vanilla along with plenty of spice box and forest floor. This is a killer, full-bodied, super-duper, opulent Cabernet Sauvignon to drink over the next 20 years. Market $235-$456 (3 bottles available at $259/bottle. Please email stan@grapetray.com)
