2015 Famille Hugel Gentil Alsace

Winemaker Notes: A kaleidoscope of grapiness, produced exclusively from hand harvested grapes in predominantly clay and limestone vineyards, from a dozen of the most favored localities in and around Riquewihr. Gentil "Hugel" allies the suave, spicy flavor of Gewurztraminer, the body of Pinot Gris, the finesse of Riesling, the grapiness of Muscat and the refreshing character of both Pinot Blanc and Sylvaner. $15 Our Price $10.95 (Arrives 9/6/17)

2016 Peter Michael L’Après-Midi Estate Sauvignon Blanc

Winemaker Notes: Intense and multi-layered, the bouquet is dominated by mineral, vine blossom, yellow nettle blossom, honeysuckle, white vine rose, hawthorn, lemon, lime, white peach, completed by acacia honey and candied anise. Rich, balanced, and elegant, the zesty flavors are reminiscent of the aromas with additional guava, Williams pear, Mirabelle plum and fresh almond notes. The strong mineral background, a stamp from our terroir, balances the overall richness and gives superb refinement. The finish is layered, extremely long and elegant. The 2016 L’Après-Midi will benefit from three years of cellaring and will age gracefully for a decade or more. Blend: 88% Sauvignon Blanc & 12% Sémillon. $60 (Arrives 9/6/17)

2015 Domaine Cabirau Maury Sec Serge & Nicolas

One of the blockbusters in the vintage is unquestionably the 2015 Maury Sec Serge & Nicolas. Made from the usual blend of 60% Grenache, 28% Syrah and 12% Carignan that was brought up primarily in tank, it has awesome notes of blackberries, licorice, crushed rocks and violets. With off the charts purity, full-bodied richness and finely polished tannin, it’s guaranteed to put a smile on your face over the coming 5-7 years. $25 Our Price $19.99 (Arrives 9/6/17)

2014 Titus Napa Cabernet Sauvignon

An excellent value is undoubtedly the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon, a blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Malbec, Petit Verdot and Merlot. For $55.00 one rarely finds this level of quality in Napa. The wine has a dense purple color, a good sweet kiss of crème de cassis, blackberry and licorice. Graphite makes an appearance in this medium to full-bodied, delicious wine that can be drunk now or cellared for 10-15 years. $55 Our Price $41.69

ROAR 2015 Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir, Half Bottles

Winemaker Notes: Drawing on aspects of all of our vineyards, our 2015 Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir is a wonderful expression of what the region has to offer. Dark fruit, leather, and toasted oak with light overtones of honey evolve into blackberry, cola and cherry, opening to include chocolate shavings and floral accents. A woody, almost evergreen, perfume enriches the lower-tone fruit through a long, dense, meaty finish full of tobacco, leather, cherry and blackberry. $24/375ml

2015 Selbach-Oster Zeltinger Himmelreich Riesling Auslese Anrecht

Picked in one passage and without any pre-selections at the end of October, the 2015 Zeltinger Himmelreich Riesling Auslese Anrecht is super deep, intense and spicy/fresh on the flinty, concentrated nose. Full-bodied, pure and lush, this is a very complex and elegant, highly mineral and salty Riesling. It has good grip and a very long, mineral finish. This is great Riesling that is indicated as Auslese only, because of the sugar weight, but not because of the selective yeasts. $40 Our Price $35.99

Wine Spectator 92

2013 Frank Family Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Rutherford Reserve

The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Rutherford Reserve is 93% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, aged 20 months in 50% new French oak. This has a more saturated purple color, a glorious extract and richness, built with a solid inner core of essence that is pure, dark and impressive. Some dusty/loamy undertones are present, but the dark blackberry and cassis fruit dominate this full-bodied beauty. It still has tannins to shed, but this wine should hit its peak in another 5-7 years and last a quarter-century or more. $85 Limited
