2015 Fourcas Dupré Listrac-Medoc Bordeaux

The 2015 Fourcas-Dupré offers plenty of blackberry and boysenberry fruit on the nose, a touch of brine here, a subtle marine influence that lends it complexity and personality. The palate is medium-bodied with a juicy opening, a mélange of red and black fruit, taut and quite linear with plenty of freshness and tension on the finish. This is a well-crafted Listrac that punches well above my expectations. $24 Our Price $17.95

2013 Chateau Ste Michelle Cabernet Sauvignon Ethos Reserve

One of the standouts in the lineup is the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Ethos Reserve, which comes from a number of sites in the Columbia valley and incorporates 10% Merlot. Aged in 53% new French and American oak, this full-bodied, rich, unctuously textured and concentrated Cabernet is loaded with notions of currants, blueberries, smoked herbs, and licorice. Possessing low acidity, a plump, sexy profile and no hard edges, it can be enjoyed anytime over the coming decade. $44 Our Price $35.95

CHÂTEAU HAUT-BEAUSÉJOUR St.-Estèphe 2014

A ripe style, with enticing raspberry and black currant confiture notes studded with singed spice and black tea details. A good tobacco underpinning keeps this honest, though the relatively fleshy edge will give this more immediate appeal. Best from 2018 through 2024. –JM $35 Our Price $24.35

2015 Killian Russian River Chardonnay

Winemaker Notes: Attractive, light gold color with an open star jasmine, citrus blossom nose above red apple, stone fruit and hints of smoky oak. Flavors are reminiscent of fresh apple and pear, and are framed in a richly bodied mouthfeel that finishes with balanced acidity and just a hint of fruit sweetness. This will be one of the best aging of the Killian Chardonnays and should be optimally balanced about a year after release. $26 Our Price $24.99

2016 Rombauer Zinfandel, Magnum

Winemaker Notes: Our classic California Zinfandel is dark purple-ruby, with a bright crimson hue. On the nose, concentrated aromas of blackberry and raspberry meld with clove and spice. Lush flavors of raspberry, blackberry jam, plums and vanilla flood the palate, followed by touches of white pepper in the background. Plush and round tannins and great length make for a fresh and enticing finish. $71/Magnum

2014 Frank Family Napa Cabernet Sauvignon

Winemaker Notes: A classic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine shows its Rutherford base with bountiful aromas of cocoa, red currant, cinnamon and blackberry; full bodied with moderate tannins and a long finish, the wine sings with flavors of chocolate, kirsch, and eucalyptus. $55 Our Price $46.99

2014 Bogle Phantom

Winemaker Notes: Phantom, Bogle’s mysterious apparition of ripe berry and relentless spice, returns to haunt wine lovers. Full of concentration and intensity, this wine will tease, tantalize and linger long after the last sip is gone. Wild berries, black pepper are framed by the influence of oak aging with baking spices and a hint of toasty vanilla. 42% Petite Sirah, 34% Zinfandel, 14% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot. $20 Our Price $13.95

2015 Chateau Siran Margaux

The 2015 Siran is a blend of 55% Merlot, 38% Cabernet Sauvignon and 7% Petit Verdot picked between 17 September to 12 October. It is raised in 25% new oak plus one-year barrels. It is a little richer and more opulent than its neighbor, the 2015 Dauzac, due to the higher proportion of Merlot. It veers to more red fruit here, wild strawberry and later cassis. The palate is smooth and sensual on the entry, very well defined with a keen thread of acidity. It grips the mouth, implying that there is more Cabernet than there actually is. I like the volume here, and unlike previous vintages that seemed to show some warmth on the finish, here the finish is much more linear and controlled, fanning out gracefully but with power emanating from that Merlot. This is likely to be proprietor Edouard Miailhe's best wine in recent years. $44 Our Price $34.95 Delicious!

CHÂTEAU BRANAIRE-DUCRU St.-Julien 2014, Half Bottles

Very pure and expressive, featuring lovely violet and cassis aromas and flavors that stream forth, backed by light anise and graphite hints. Maintains a fresh feel through the finish, with light minerality engaging with the fruit. Best from 2019 through 2028. 13,335 cases made.-JM $43/750ml. Our Price $26.95/375ml

2012 Cambiata Tannat

Winemaker Notes: We fermented the black juice in small open‐top fermenters and pumped over twice a day during fermentation. The wine was then pressed straight to 60 gallon barrels (100% French, 40% new). Our 2012 Tannat is incredibly deep and concentrated with notes of earth, blackberries, saddle leather and licorice. On the palate it is thick and chewy with bold, well‐integrated tannins. Big wine. Good wine. In case you are not familiar with it, Tannat is a native of Southwest France. Included in its resume are the big, dark, dense reds from the Madiran region north of the Pyrenees Mountains that separate France from Spain.$35 Our Price $25.99

2015 Horsepower Vineyards Syrah The Tribe Vineyard

The 2015 Syrah The Tribe Vineyard is also gorgeous, with lots of gravely/mineral notes intermixed with pepper, beef broth, currants and spice. It’s slightly more structured and tense than the Sur Echalas Vineyard, but has a similar level of purity, precision and length. $200 (Arrives this afternoon) Limited
