2016 Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

Winemaker Notes: A dark, scarlet red color, with powerful aromas of sweet ripe cabernet grapes. Initial impressions are fantastically appealing, brooding to expansive textural sensations of finely grained cacao tannins. The whole of the wine is balanced, rich, expressive and impressively complex. The backbone of fine tannin and sweet ripeness is a carry over from perfectly mature fruit. $90 Our Price $79.95

2012 Eponymous Macallister Vineyard Red Blend

Winemaker Notes: This vintage of Eponymous Red Wine immediately pleases with complex aromas hinting of cassis, spicy oak notes, and raspberries. Held to the light one sees a rich, purple- scarlet color that hints at the broad palette these grapes afford the winemaker. Solid body and firm, well-balanced structure with the flavors following the aromas and added nuances of chocolate and rhubarb. This wine's elegance and refinement starts with the lush entry and continues through the mid-palate and on to a long, pleasing finish. The grapes come from a single vineyard, MacAllister Vineyard, near the ridge of the Mayacamas Range on the Sonoma side of Mt. Veeder. This is a spectacular sloping site with multiple exposures and well drained, low fertility soils. $45 (Arrives 7/18/18) Delicious!

2016 Rombauer Carneros Chardonnay, 5 Liter

Winemaker Notes: Enticing aromas of vanilla, melon and mango are layered with apricot, creme brulee, butter and a slight minerality. Those scents are echoed as flavors on the creamy, rich palate, along with peach, pie crust and baking spices. The long, smooth finish is marked by mouthwatering acidity. $411 (One 5 liter bottle in stock)

2015 Sobon Rezerve Primitivo

Winemaker Notes: Originally planted in the early 90’s on well-drained bench land, this dry farmed, sustainably grown block

is now producing some of the most flavorful high quality fruit on the entire estate. Primitivo is the Italian clone of Zinfandel, and delivers a wine leaning more in the direction of rich plum-like flavors rather than blackberry. A full bodied wine of great richness and depth with a ripe mouth-filling viscous structure, and a smooth almost feminine silkiness that belies its bold character. Heady aromatics give way to a lush warm finish that makes this wine the ideal complement to the most savory and heartiest fare. FOOD PAIRING: Serve with leg of lamb, braised short ribs, duck confit and beef tournedos, or pasta with spicy sauces.$25 Our Price $15.95

2015 Jax Napa Cabernet Sauvignon

Winemaker Notes: This wine is powerful, dense, but beautifully balanced and precise. In the glass it has an evocative nose defined by true cassis, lush red currants and espresso. The palate shows dark brambly berries and a silky, expansive impression from the Cabernet Sauvignon and exotic spice notes and power from the Cabernet Franc. The structure and density of this vintage will allow the wine to age for decades. Blend: 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc. $55 Our Price $44.99

2017 Lewis Napa Sauvignon Blanc

Winemaker Notes: Like the Florida Keys our 2017 Sauvignon Blanc is a string of tropical island delights filled with ripe guava, citrus and sandalwood spice. Fleshy yet focused with limoncello, key lime pie and a trace of toasty oak, the wine has an athletic nature with notes of mineral and mango rind framing the finish. $38 Our Price $33.99

Wine Advocate 95-97
2016 Chateau de Beaucastel
Chateauneuf du Pape

No surprise, the 2016 Chateauneuf du Pape takes the quality of the Coudoulet and ratchets it up a notch (or two!). I tasted the preliminary blend from foudre and was blown away by its potential. At 35% Mourvèdre, 25% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 10% Counoise, 5% Cinsault and 10% other permitted varieties, it shows amazing purity in its scents of dark fruit and licorice, richness and weight without any excess of alcohol and a finish that goes on and on. $90 (Pre-Sell Price $73.65.
