Rochioli Estate Pinot Noir 2019
|Region||California, Sonoma County, Russian River Valley|
This Estate is a blend of our many different vineyard sites, with fifty-three percent Little Hill, fifteen percent Big Hill, fourteen percent from West Block, twelve percent from Sweetwater, and six percent East Block. This full bodied wine is complex and rich with the typical Rochioli character and the Classic Russian River Valley charm. Aged in French oak for 15 months, the wine displays a full body and silky texture finish, with a balanced structure. 3198 cases were produced.
Delicate and refined, this is filled with concentrated raspberry tart flavors that are laced together by plenty of cedary and underbrush accents. The fresh, juicy finish shows touches of ripe minerality and hints of white pepper. Drink now through 2027. 3,198 cases made.
Pale ruby, the 2019 Pinot Noir Estate has pretty red and black berry aromas on the nose, with accents of black tea leaves, woodsmoke and earth. The medium-bodied palate is silky and fresh with intense, earth-laced fruits lingering on the finish.
The 2019 Pinot Noir Estate is a very pretty, delicate wine. Lifted aromatics, bright red berry fruit and mid-weight structure make for a tasty, Russian River Pinot that will drink well right out of the gate. This is an especially floral, silky style. A dollop of whole clusters (12%) is not especially evident.
