Winemaker Notes:
Anderson Valley tends to sit somewhere between Carneros and Russian River in terms of flavor profile, often showing some of the earthy elements of the former alongside the fruit of the latter. The 2018 is no exception, with aromas of raspberry, plum, and iron. The palate is bright, but with plenty of intense red and black fruit, and a touch of dried herb. Firm tannin provides structure on the finish.

This luxurious, richly fruity wine offers an abundance of spicy, woodsy aromas, then floods the palate with ripe black fruits and a warm, generous mouthfeel. Full body, very fine-grained tannins and a sense of softness give it a gentleness despite its power.

The 2018 Pinot Noir Anderson Valley is earthy in character, with tart blackberries, tea leaves, tar, bitter citrus and turned earth aromas. The palate is light to medium-bodied and earthy, with crunchy fruit character, a firm, grainy frame and great freshness to lift the long, spiced finish.
