Winery Notes:
To not mention the smoke and wildfire of the 2020 vintage would be to ignore the elephant in the room. However, the vintage is by no mean a lost one. If you were able to harvest before the Glass Fire in late September, the vintage was a rewarding one. This full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon has heaps of dark-blue and black fruit with a smooth tannin structure.

The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is deep garnet-purple in color. Notes of cassis, baked plums, and boysenberries waft from the glass, followed by hints of dusty soil, Indian spices, and wild sage. The medium to full-bodied palate delivers bright, fresh, youthful fruit with a grainy texture and spicy lift on the finish.

What should be a great value, the 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley has classic darker currant and plum fruits as well as some cedary herbs and chocolate aromatics. Not yet bottled, it's balanced, medium to full-bodied, and has ripe, polished tannins.
