Its structural texture keeps this wine balanced and fresh from its beginning through its very long, complex finish.

Appearance: Clear and bright with an opaque, blackish core and medium ruby/purple rim, with slow, thick, well-stained tears on the glass.

Aroma: Very aromatic with rich, ripe black fruit, crème de cassis, and boysenberry, with oak, vanilla, sweet tobacco, chocolate, leather, and cedar notes.

Palate: Dry, full, and rich on the palate, with bold, ripe black cherry, black currant, and mixed blackberry fruit on entry, joined by oak and vanilla, sweet tobacco, leather, dark chocolate, and roasted coffee on the midpalate, matched with big chewy tannins going into a fresh finish with sustained fruit and spice notes.
